To anyone else who is still "under consideration", I called on May 12th and was told that they are still going through all the applications, and the nurse managers (not the nurse recruiters) are still actively interviewing and trying to balance their time with the Epic rollout. So keep your fingers crossed :)

I used the chat feature to ask last week, and was told that L&D isn't hiring this year. A bunch of my friends were hired to the PICU and NICU in May, so not sure how many spots are left--but definitely go for it if that's what you want. I highly recommend using the Tuesday and Thursday "chats" to ask if you have a specific unit that is your dream job.

I received an offer from the renal/pulmonary stepdown unit, but I'm holding out for something in Women's Health (its still early, right?). Congrats on the Rex "hiring manager" status. Everyone I know has just been "Under Consideration" since Feb 5th. Good Luck!

Hey UNC2002. I received an invitation to interview about one month after applying, and received the offer a little less than one month after the interview. A bunch of people from my school just received offers or rejections last week, so hopefully you won't have long to wait!

I'm with piebird's friend! I think the decisions are 90% made, and the face-to-face interview is just to make sure we don't have some glaring flaw that will ruin their reputation. I think that also explains why they're such sticklers about appearing in-person, instead of offering phone interviews or skyping like some school. fingers crossed that we are all a few weeks away from lots of good news!!

Hi Everyone! My interview invite just appeared in my inbox. Just wanted to confirm that the dates are July 13, 16, and 20 (as previously posted) and you can choose which date works best for you, but it's first come first served.

I'm posting for sympathy!!! I live in New Mexico and the OHSU letter still hasn't arrived. AAAHH! Are they saving money by using the Pony Express?!

I applied to Uni Portland's AEM UP program, but they decided to cancel it :) Also applied to Oregon Health & Science U's ABSN and Duke. BTW Duke has the nicest rejection letters ever :)

Yes! First time applying. Based on last year's class, I figure we'll be twiddling our thumbs until mid Feb at least. Did you apply anywhere else?
