  1. "Just because I am working on Christmas dies NOT mean I am pretending that is mistletoe!"
  2. I got an A in the class. I worked ahead and did all of the quizzes in the first week which left me with just the discussion boards and the essay to work on a weekly basis. The essay was broken down so one week we would find a topic to research and write the thesis statement. Another week we would find research articles and summarize them, or write the conclusion and reference page, etc. I am now taking two nursing classes at once, but I just started this week so I can't really say yet how manageable they will be together. I have a co-worker who is almost finished with the program who said that he has always doubled up the classes except for once or twice when he couldn't get a class that he needed. I am working full time and am married, but no kids. I definitely think it is possible working full time. It might be more difficult if you have a gaggle of small children running around the house though.
  3. I just completed my first class in the program so I am no expert, but here is my take. The prereqs are typically 8 weeks long and the nursing courses are 8 weeks long. If you want to double up, you could take 6 nursing classes in a semester by doing 2 at a time in 5 week increments. Or you could take 4 prereqs, or 2 prereqs and 3 nursing courses. I have seen a couple people on the board mention taking 3 courses at once but am not sure if they were working full time or not.
