  1. When the off-going shift finishes giving you report on the patient with severe halitosis.
  2. Usually supervisors know who is the 'good egg' and who is the 'bad egg' it shows through in your work and how well you take care of your patients. If they don't know yet, they find out quickly. So with your instance where you were proven innocent...gave the other co worker a black mark in their minds. Good luck to you and try to avoid the drama
  3. Come back later and try a different approach, if that doesn't work have someone else try. If that doesn't work report it to the nurse.
  4. Rounds at shift change are meant to ensure that every resident is receiving the care that they need and prevent pressure sores. Not to catch someone not doing their jobs. Rounds should be done together, so when someone is found needing a brief change, both CNA's can help and get the job done quicker. So next time they say so and so needs a brief change, say "could you please come help me?" or if you happen to catch them walking in the door at start of shift say, "lets do rounds together, so I know exactly what would help you out with your shift."
