  1. Hi guys, I went through this CSUN ABSN program and have successfully found a job. Feel free to PM if you have any questions
  2. lol that's hilarious
  3. "when you come to the orientation you will receive the information to sign up for summer courses. although the solar may indicate fall tuition fees, those fees will be the same for summer. you will have ample time to enroll and pay before summer begins." that's the reply i got in an email
  4. isn't it kind of weird that we haven't paid anything and we are starting in a couple weeks?
  5. I have the same question as aies101. I just recieved a notice about tuition for fall... but not for summer. Wondering whether or not anyone has received anything about classes and when we can sign up. I read in another post that a current student suggests us take epidemiology first quarter to take the load off of the following quarters.
  6. Anyone here accepted, but not living in LA county right now? I asked someone at CSUN Nursing about when the fire card is due (to see if I could do it after I moved down, after we start class) and did not exactly get my question answered. The lady replied that I should get training around my own area, but I just want to verify that it transfers before I do anything, plus if it's not due until later then that saves me stress. I also am on the lookout for quiet places to live around Northridge. Currently, nobody is willing to give me a quote because they all want spaces filled now, not when we start in late May. Any ideas? Perhaps I need to make a 2-day trip down beforehand, 1 day to find places and 1 day to do a training.
  7. so are we all gonna go to the rotations together? someone up there said something about a previous class meeting up at a bus/train station..
  8. Hm well I didn't have a csun email account. I believe they email it to the one you put down in your application? It was a neutral-sounding email with an attachment. It's the attachment that tells you you're in.
  9. mrmandap, can you tell us anything about financial aid? I've been trying to look it up but it seems that 2nd bachelors gets no grants. Anything you can tell us? How about living situation? I'm thinking about living in Santa Monica... maybe. Depends on which hospitals I'm placed at, and how much it costs to live close to school. Any input/advice?
  10. I mailed it to ---- (forgot last name), the person who sent me the confirmation email. Seems like a safe bet. Oh yeah, forgot to post, I GOT IN!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Anyone get any word recently from csun? other than receipt of nursing app?
  12. hmm i seem to have gotten one from a person. guess it counts too. except it's not from the nursing dept... Dear Applicant, This message is to confirm receipt of your nursing application for 2012. Thank you. ---------- Student Services Professional California State University, Northridge 18111 Nordhoff Street Northridge, CA 91330-8285
  13. can you elaborate on the email confirmation from the nursing dept? what's the title of the email we're supposed to be getting, and what's the name they're sending it from? haha i'm freaking out a little now too
  14. from csumentor?
  15. i'm applying. nice to meet you. have you read the previous year's thread? it seems that a 4.0 prereqs gpa is mandatory, and probably like a 3.7 for previous bachelor's. i don't know what else, i'm trying to scan for info on people that got in but not much other than 1 thread has shown up.
