Emory University BSN/BSN 2nd Degree, Fall 2012 Applicants
Has anyone else had them be flaky with their application? They have made several errors with mine. First, they misplaced my application fee and I had to re-send my confirmation email proving that I had paid it back in the beginning of Dec. Then one of my transcripts went missing and I had to pay $40 to overnight it to them. After all of that hassle they said my social science elective was incomplete. Once I pointed out to them that I had 3 extra social science electives, they stated that they were going to update my OPUS account, but it still says incomplete. I am so beyond frustrated and am fearful on how this will effect the final decision. I sent Ms. Weinert another email, hopefully she'll get back to me with reassuring news. FINGERS CROSSED :)

Congrats to all that got in! I haven't received my decision yet I keep checking OPUS and it still says not available. The school made a lot of errors with my application, so I am worried on how that will effect their decision and the timing with it. Did anyone else have them make errors with their application? I am so nervous and just want an answer!!!

Kennesaw State BSN Fall 2012
Hello All, I have been reading all the posts and I think we are all nervous. I am extremely stressed about getting in. I have a 3.76 GPA and a 4.0 math & science GPA, but on my first attempt at the TEAS I scored a 72. I retake it this week and then will apply right after. I know that the TEAS is only 1/3 of what they look at, but I am afraid I won't score high enough. I DO NOT do well on standardized tests. I am also applying to Emory and GA state as well, but KSU is the most convenient. I would love to go to Emory if I get in, but not sure the commute and the cost are worth it. Ahhhh it's all so overwhelming. The good news is my 2 study partners from this past year just started nursing school @ KSU and both got accepted their 1st time. They have the exact same GPAs as me, but one scored an 85 on the TEAS and the other scored a 91. That's what freaks me out is my TEAS score...

TEAS test
Hi all, I am new to this site and trying to get some advice. I am taking my TEAS V test this week to apply to Kennesaw State University in GA. I am a excellent student with a 3.75 GPA and Have all A's and 2 B's in the pre-reqs. Yet somehow, I am really struggling with the practice tests for the TEAS. I have always had anxiety when taking standardized tests and am really nervous! I have been doing horrible in the math getting a 50% in the individual part and a 63% for the science. I need at least an 83 to be competitive with fellow peers applying. After this semester I only have 3 GE classes left and I am done, I don't know how I should go about succeeding on this test. Should I hire a tutor? This is my passion and what I have wanted for so long, but this darn test is in my way. Any advice would be wonderful! Thank you & have a wonderful day! :)
