Hey guys I am thinking of applying to the may 2013 I hope it is not too late, I wanted to know if the admission committee will accpet ppl who have pre-req finals after the start date. I would also love to know hat where others who got accepted into the programs gpa? I think mines is a bit low.

Hey guys I am currently looking for a private college in the U.S that might accpet a GPA of 2.49 in there accelerated BSN program. I am a LPN I had a higher gpa in my LPN program a 3.0 to be exact but when I statred working on my BS in health service Administrations I was working over 40hours a week, so that affected me. I have great recommendations and I currently work in a Hospital in NYC as a nurse so I hope that can help me get into a BSN program. I know the chances of being accpeted is based on where u live, and I heard private schools maybe expensive but they are less competitive I don't mind paying the loans back, do any one know a accredited private school or any school that might take a 2.49 gpa and look at the fact that I have strong nursing experience in a hospital. Please let me know of. Thanks

I took the exam today and I did the whole 205 questions, I went home and did the PVT 3hrs later and it said "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

Does the PVT work ? I took the NCLEX PN earlier this morning and I just did the trick, before I did it and it said delivered successful. I personally think that your time will come. You did not get the job your friend got, because God has bigger and better plans for you trust me. That job wasn't for you if you didn't get it, you just Graduated so it will take time just keep applying and STAY POSITIVE. You should be proud of your self for finishing the nursing program, take care

I know its useful but some of the intervention giving for the situations are meant to be implemented by a RN, and I don't want to know them so that I will not select an option on the nclex thats is beyond my scope of practice. I just wanted to know if I can get the same in for but for an LPN's scope of practice.

hey DreamNurseRN I wanted to know if you can explain in greater depth about the strategies for the nclex because I am taking it soon. I already Know the "ABC, Least Invasive First" what more do I need to know can you explain the "what can I do before calling the MD" and "Patient before Equipment". I am taking my nclex in two weeks, please give me all the info that you think will be beneficial. Thanks.

what did you think of the medication part of saunders ? because I was thinking of doing those med questions were they helpful.

I took the exam on 12/2/11 too and my exam stopped on 121 and I felt horrible. I am too scared to use the pvt.

I registered over the phone the first time, and my mother told me that I should wait until monday since the pop up isn't the official results and in the mean time keep praying and stay positive. I felt that the exam was not as hard as it was my first time. Some questions had me clueless. The answer choices presented was either too close to each or an intervention that I felt were in appropriate. For example " a nurse saw a post partum patient sitting in the bathroom floor, what should nurse initiate first"..(a) go get a wheel chair (b) ask her what happened © help her stand (d) go get the supervisor.... My answer was (A) because we are not suppose to leave the patient will should try to understand the reason she is sitting maybe she wasn't injured. The whole exam had me worried I answered 121 questions before it shuts off. I found it a lot easier than my first time and but not easy enough for me to be confident that I passed because a lot of the meds had me confused. I am just worried Please preay for me. :)
