Can you guys give me your stats. I just recently applied.

I have been only looking into the Accel. MSN programs just recently. I was primary considering Accelerated BSN programs, but I prefer the MSN/adv practice route. There are not many out there from what I read. There are a ton of Direct entry MSN programs listed on the aacn website, but most are not for direct NP. I am interested in the Psych NP specialty but I would be content with the primary care stuff too. Other colleges I am looking into are Boston Col, Northeastern, MGH and Northeastern. I am not too sure about what kind of stats are needed to get into these institutions though. Are there any other programs I am missing?

Hi folks, Thinking about applying to UIC's GEP program. Anybody here applied and was accepted? What were your stats? My stats: 3.2 Overall GPA/3.5 Sci BA in Sociology. Office Manager in home health care, tech in a medical equipment co, medical assistant (no cert) in dr's office and later office manager there. Volunteering in Nursing Home around 120 hours... From what I can tell on their website, after completing the NCLEX, you immediately start the master portion of the program. Is this correct?

hi msmarcia, what do you think they accept as a medical license? CNA cert? I'm not sure about what other stuff you mean, I only took those 3 classes at WCCCD. I took this winter semester off so I can catch and finish my degree at WSU...so Im a bit rusty on the requirements for w3d's Rn program. I work with a doc and in the field so Im not sure if that counts in any categories. Hi Shanay, thanks for that I totally forgot about it. I wonder how they calculate the GPA if transferred?

Do you guys know what the deadlines are? I wanted to pick up a information sheet but I think the school is closed for break. Grades I got: AP I A AP II B BIO 155 A Micro taking summer GPA 3.66 What do you guys think? Should I retake AP II?

Sorry about bumping this old thread. My university I want the class to be sent to doesn't accept ACE classes but accept classes from some of the partner colleges. So if I transfer the course from straighterline to Kaplan for example, will this be "transcribed"? I'm confused.

I will be applying in June. I took ap 1 got a full A the same with bio155. I expect to get a full A in ap 2 this semester. I am planning to take micro this coming semester. What was the cutoff for points drea82?

Whoops sorry about that. Can anybody give me some answers about the point system? I have the nursing packet... it just mentions it w/o specifics. How does that work out?

Could you give me some professors names you recommend for psych and micro? I am not sure how to use the PM function on this forum.

When you say co reqs do you mean stuff like Intro to bio? Or does this include stuff like political science from a 4 year?

Does anybody know if the GPA grades are purely off Pre-reqs or everything from every college I have been to? I was going in to get more info this coming Monday, but I have been feeling antsy.
