Hi All, Thanks for posting all this great info. I was starting to get a little paranoid that I hadn't received a call from HR yet, but i guess they are just starting? I was hired at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital Acute PEDS unit and was told by my start date and to wait for a call from HR. I still haven't heard anything from HR and I am starting February 27. Has anyone who got hired at PEDS gotten a call to set up their appointments? Im coming from San Francisco, so I want to plan out my flight. Thanks for any info!

Hi All, For those who have been offered PEDS position, CONGRATS, and I was just wondering if you have received more information on the next steps. I was offered a position for the Acute PEDS unit at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital but was told by the UD that the official start date hasnt been established yet, and to expect an email with further instructions... In my excitement about the offer, I didnt clarify when I should expect this email by. I asked if I needed to do anything in the meantime and she said no, but I am getting anxious about the "officialness" of the offer since all Ive had so far is a verbal offer... Any info would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thanks

Hi All, For those who have had their 2nd interview (with the managers), Congrats!! and would you be okay with sharing what the 2nd interview was like? Did they ask clinical questions? Is there anything in particular that one should prepare for?

Did anyone have their interview today? I know 11/11/11 and 11/14/11 are the initial interview dates. If you went today and dont mind, Please share!

Oh and I mailed my packet from San Francisco, CA the 2nd or 3rd day the application was open.

Hi All, Just to update everyone... I got a call today around 1245 from CHLA for an interview scheduled for Nov 14th. They gave me the option of Nov 11 or Nov 14. From the call it seems like 5pm slot on Nov 14th is the last interview slot for this round. The HR person also said this is the HR/Recruiter interview, not the Nurse Manager interview round. The nurse manager interview is the next and final interview round. I wish everyone luck! Also, does anyone have any info about what the interviews are like? Any advice is GREATLY appreciated.
