  1. Does anyone know the average cost per day per patient for ICU?

    I work in a surgical/trauma ICU. A surgery pt is charged just under 6000 per day and a trauma pt is charged 7900 Of course, this is just to stay in the room. No meds, no OR trips, no diagnostics or labs and no doctors. Ouch.

  2. What majors/courses to take to become a CRNA

    You will need to be a BSN RN. I'm sure that to get into any CRNA program, you will need a certain number of years experience as a working nurse, I would think critical care preferred. Then apply and get into a CRNA program. Where I live, they are extremely competitive, only taking 13 and 8 students per year. Good luck!
