  1. How often do patients panic on the c-section table? How do you calm them down if they are panicking prior to surgery?
  2. People can control things like weight, to an extent. They cannot, however, control their age.
  3. BTW I have a 3.9 and 1080 GRE, 4.0 in prerequisites. I know I like looking at stats haha so there are mine!
  4. Hey there! Just got done with this years application cycle- 2 rejections and 1 waitlist. I got rejected from Seattle U and Northeastern, waitlisted at Vandy. My advice is to work on your story for sure. I wasn't prepared for my interviews. I didn't pull from my experiences in healthcare enough- because I don't have a lot of experience! I think that's what did it for me- the lady who interviewed me at northeastern said "get more experience". That's the biggie. I also wasn't finished with my prerequisites, and I think that is an easy way for them to say "okay, your off the list" because so many people are finished when they submit the applications in fall. I took all of mine in fall and then spring and now one more in summer, so they had no grades to look at- just my grades from UF when I got my bachelors there and none of those classes were science based. I will be applying next year. The process is exhausting, and I'm right there with you... best of luck!
  5. Got my flat-out rejection in the mail today. Not doing so well, but I guess that's to be expected.
  6. I'm sorry ahm. I know it's disappointing. You'll get through it, and in to an amazing program.
  7. Its hard because I didn't expect to have an interview anywhere and now that I have had two interviews I feel like I was given false hope. I was really hoping for Vanderbilt that was number 1 for me but I was waitlisted and it broke my heart
  8. I wonder if all the waitlisted people found out, and now all of us are just screwed!
  9. I am so angry! It's Friday, I haven't gotten an email or anything, and my family's fate is hanging in the balance. Hale bale I understand!!
  10. I thought today would be the day for sure but still nothing! Wahh. I guess another week... I'm not going to expect anything tomorrow
  11. Does anyone know what all the specialties are? I know family, mental health... I get confused with all the acronyms and all the schools lol
  12. I still don't see where it will be "updated" on the application. Is it on the screen when you log in to n-you? Or under "submitted" on the application homepage? Congrats S that's awesome.
  13. I feel disheartened, like I'm awaiting defeat. I wish I had more patient care experience
  14. Any movement off the waitlist yet?
  15. I had an interview in February
