LVN Jobs
A lot of nurses who could retire are holding onto their jobs because of the bad economy. Some who were stay-at-home moms went back to work when their husbands lost their jobs. There are still a lot of jobs available. You need to present yourself well and have a great resume. It's a good idea to also include all of the places you trained at on your resume if you are a new grad. There are a lot of good websites to try. Today employers are looking for people who will give them 100%.

Failed to get into LVN program at community college...
The public LVN programs are hard to get into. Sometimes they have like 500 applicants and only take 40. The private programs are more expensive but you can get a class quicker. There are a lot of private LVN programs to choose from. Some have private or governmental loans.

Has anyone heard of PMCI in Thousand Oaks, CA?
Some of the CNA programs are expensive. Up to $4000 from what I saw on one website. The public programs are less expensive but hard to get into. PMCI is just 8 weeks long - the cost is higher than the public programs. It's in a really nice location in Westlake Village. If you want a class now and don't want to wait - PMCI delivers.

Does any school take transfer nursing credits?
I heard that PMCI in Westlake Village takes transfers from other LVN and RN programs. A friend of mine transfered there and really liked it.
