i am also curious as to if this statement is truly evidence based.

My facility was recently designated by the ANCC as a Pathways to Excellence hospital. So what is the difference between this designation and Magnet status?

I hit the floor right after report. I don't take a break until I have passed all my meds and have completed my assessments. I try to take a break about 10am and don't eat lunch until about 1pm. It doesn't always happen that way depending on what is happening at the time.

My hospital uses a point system. The person with low points gets called off. It's a fair system.

I can't see the Joint Commission okaying such a system. This is a very unsafe practice.
