Going through the same. Been on my floor since June. It's starting to get easier but still.. It's not for me. I've actually applied for an OR position to start in January. It has a nice schedule to go with having a family as well

Thank BCBRN! I did manage to go to the open house and speak with/give my resume to one of the only hospitals offering up the ER spot-Hays. Looking forward to applying tomorrow.. still scary since there are so little spots available.

Did you apply to children's Er? They sent an email out...no call for interview. And haven't heard anything from the main hospital yet. Don't give up hope. But I know the feeling.

The only thing I have heard from Baylor in Dallas is that they pretty much only hire BSN grads. I had to email her... I'm graduating from CTC with an ADN. Still nothing here from PICU/adult ICU or either ER. Am I the only one with my phone surgically...

No. I don't grad until may 2015. Haven't heard from er picu or children's er. I know lots of students from last semester that grad in December who got jobs at sw intern at their OR ER PICU and Medsurg.
