  1. Are you using a dry stick antiperspirant? That stuff creates a film on your skin and on your shirts. It was the biggest culprit on yellow armpits on my husband's shirts. That stuff does. not. come. off. easily. I bought him and myself roll-ons and problem solved.
  2. I created a group for the ones who are going to Duke this fall. Ask me in private for the link!
  3. WHNP here, I'm in! Kacee, I'm sure it's a mistake, just contact them! Let's chat!
  4. Tomorrow, the 17th, should be the day, right? I have been checking my phone all day, but I have a feeling it's going to be tomorrow. I hope so!
  5. Nothing here yet.
  6. I don't know how many people interviewed or how big the cohort is going to be but I heard it's pretty small for the WHNP program. I'm guessing 5 to 7 people, which it would be great. I interviewed with the same person as you did. I hope we do hear on Friday, that would be wonderful. Good luck to you too!
  7. I'm joining this thread late but I interviewed for WHNP and I loved the experience. I live in Seattle so it was online. She told me 2-3 weeks to hear back. Anyone else applying for women's health?
  8. Thank you so much ScenicRoute! This is going to help a lot, this is exactly what I needed. I am going to put the interviews together tomorrow night and if I need to ask any more questions I will come back here. Thanks again for your time!
  9. Hello everyone, Would someone please find some time to help a student? :) I'm taking Mental Health this quarter and one of our assignments is a professional interview. I can be any Mental Health professional: nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, etc. I should also say that I really appreciate your help. This is a huge favor that I am asking. I hope you can find some time on your - I'm sure - very busy schedule. This is not a homework in a way that I have to do work myself before discussion (other than asking questions and think about the answers), it's an interview. We are supposed to find professionals in the area, ask them questions about the future of Psych nursing and discuss those in class. Our instructor asked us not to ask anyone from our clinical site, so I am in a bind because I only know one person in the area (ANRP) and I'm having problems contacting her. It can be anonymous, of course, but the more you give me, the more we can discuss in class. I may ask more questions depending on what is answered, but this is what I have so far: Questions: 1) What are your roles and responsibilities? 2) What do you consider to be the trends in mental health? 3) What do you consider to be the challenges in mental health? THANK YOU so much - I'm enjoying this quarter very much!

  12. thanks everyone. I just need some time now. But don't let this discourage you all, you are all amazing!
  13. Guys, ------------ answered my email saying that I have not been selected. Thank you everyone and good luck!!
  14. I can't remember Hawaii. I know I received on the first day, so I can't remember LOL. But yes, we all want SU very much, I love it here! I think my email got buried in a bunch of emails last night, I will send another one just in case I get another response LOL
  15. Stephanina, when did you send the email? I sent mine at midnight last night!
  16. can we all call and get different responses? hahahah
  17. thanks for calling, Hawaii! UGH
  18. yes, they are not very organized about that. Last year I remember (and you can read about that on the other year's threads as well) it depends a lot of who answers the phone. At the very least we got something like "notifications will be sent until the end of this week". They never say anything down to the day, but at least seemed somewhat informed about the week.. when you called I was surprised when they just said "not yet" yikes! How far can they be from having a final list that they can't even say the week now? LOL Anyways, as far as the number of applicants - I haven't counted, but I think there are more people talking at the facebook group than here. Still not at lot of people but if I recall correctly, 2011, 2010, 2009 only started to pick up right at interview time (when people received their email invitations) or right after the interview. 2012 was very unique in this regard!
  19. Anyone would like to call? I know last year a couple of people did. I'm too much of a chicken HAHA
  20. I also sent email last night Hawaii. I am afraid as well, but not for the same reasons - I think that there is just too many people applying. However, I am pretty sure no notifications have been sent. Not only nobody here or in the facebook group (there's quite a bunch of people there) have said anything yet, but also our status page is the same. Once people start receiving email invitations, the ones who have not received it will see the message changing in the status page to "you decision has been mailed".
  21. Fair enough salinn! I wish you the best of luck!
  22. Hey salinn, would you mind if I asked you why SU is your top option over Hopkins? Congratulations!! It's great to have options, no matter what!
  23. salinn I also know a couple male and trans midwives. I think it's great too!!
  24. Am I wrong or do we have several future murses in this thread?
