The position was posted beginning of November. They already contacted people for interview. The next program will be in April.

I forgot to ask which unit but youre right.. they gave her two options and she has to decide right away. Im not sure if itll be the same for everyone though. Goodluck to you! Hope we get a call today.. this wait is killing me.

today around 2 pm.. i'm hoping that they are calling internals first, and that they are not doing it by the day of the interview.. We interviewed on the same day

i kinda gave up already when HR told me that they are only hiring 1 for this Telemetry position..

Nope... still waiting.. the anticipation is killing me.. but a friend of mine got a call already, shes internal though.. maybe theyre calling internal employees first.

I asked the nurse recruiter.. she said all notification of selection/non-selection will be done by no later then 12/16. So im guessing they will start calling by Monday if you get it, or you will receive a rejection email.

im not sure. my status is still "referred to hiring department". But it seems like they're calling people for interview for the new grad positions that was posted in the beginning of Nov. Im assuming they wont be calling anytime soon for the Telemetry position, but then again im not really sure EDIT: Ok I just called HR right now and they told me that if we dont hear anything by next week, we can assume that were not selected to move forward. Oh btw, they said that instead of hiring 4, theyre only hiring 2 people for this Telemetry position AND 1 position is already taken. SO... 1 opening for us. Lol i mean.. thats just insane.

Someone actually contacted a nurse recruiter at UCSD. She said... " if the application status hasn't changed, then ... that means it was not forwarded at all". Ive been applying to their new grad program since July. All my applications says "application received" and never changed except for one. One of my application now says "referred to hiring department". Also, HR told me that they already contacted all the people for interview, except for the Telemetry position (which was posted late).

Well.. im still in contact with her.. unfortunately shes unable to open a new grad positions on her floor. This is the 2nd time i applied and im not getting any interviews..

I did. but my status never changed. I hear some people applied there too and their status changed to "under consideration" or "referred to hiring managers". I dont know if theyre not interested in me. I dont even know if they even read my application. I did my externship and preceptorship at UCSD and also few of my clinicals were there too.

yeah thats what my friend told me. he is currently doing the new grad program at scripps. but hey, if you have one year experience, im sure itll be easy to find a job.

I just want to make sure... when we applied, there was no option to choose our preferred units right? i remembered putting which hospitals but not the unit.. i just want to make sure. im just wondering how are we supposed to know which unit were gonna interview for. hmm

im from SD, external candidate. Ive only done 1 semester of clinical at scripps but that was it.
