  1. Congrats on getting in! I tried searching for a group and haven't been able to find one. Eric
  2. Hi everyone, Found this post when looking for more info on the program. I believe I've been admitted to the spring 2020 cohort. No phone call, email or snail mail but my online portal status recently changed from "applied" to "admitted". I've reached out to the SON for clarification but haven't heard back yet. Anyone else have a situation like this? Thanks! Eric
  3. Hey Guys- Does anyone know how many students get accepted into the Fall program? Thanks, Eric
  4. Mine says denied now as well. Better luck next year. Good luck to everyone.
  5. 930 here. Good luck to everyone.
  6. Hey guys Getting down to the wire. The suspense is killing me as well. Hopefully we will hear soon. I'm currently having a problem getting UNF to update my degree evaluation with the 3 prereqs I just finished in December. They have received my transcripts and I have sent a few emails to the SON admissions staff but all I keep hearing is "as soon as we get to it". Ugh frustrating. I graduated with a BS in Health Care Admin. Anyway letters should be out in the next week or so. Good luck everyone.
  7. Hey guys- @Danielle-Awesome. Yea I took the TEAS a couple of weeks ago. The ATI Study Guide was a huge help. Science was a bit difficult because it was so broad but all in all, it wasn't too bad. @WCT-Hey there! Its awesome to finally hear from people. We are in the same ballpark with both GPA and TEAS. I'm finishing up one prereq now and should end up with a 3.7 gpa. My TEAS was an 85.8. Science killed my score. Hopefully we get some interviews. From what I have been reading we should be competitive. No, I'm actually from the St. Augustine area but I went to school at St. Leo University just north of Tampa. I'm trying to stay in the area b/c I own a house here so I'm only applying to UNF and JU, UNF being my number one. Are you from the Tampa area?
  8. Hey guys- I took the TEAS last week so I thought I would fill you in. The TEAS Study Guide is more than adequate for the Math, English and Reading sections. If your English skills are good and you know the concepts in that book you will be fine. As for the Science, I did not find the study guide to be too helpful. I think it just comes down to the amount of information the test covers. I also felt it was extremely unbalanced as far as the individual science subjects (I would say 50% of my test was chemistry). Other than the science though it wasn't too bad. I got a combined score of 345 and that was with a 77 in Science. Hopefully it is good enough. Eric
  9. Hi guys! I'm also applying for the Accelerated BSN for May 2012. I've got a few backups but UNF is my top choice. Taking the TEAS on Thursday at UNF, and I can't wait till its over. Are you guys applying for the traditional track or the Accelerated? -Eric
  10. Hey Everyone- I haven't seen a thread for the UNF 2012 Accelerated BSN yet so i figured I would create one. The previous classes seemed like they got a lot out of sharing with one another so hopeful we can do the same. Feel free to share any information you have, where you are in the application process or just any woes or worries. Let try to help each other along in this stressful process. Later and good-luck, Eric
