Should I move to Atlanta?!
Hello i just passed my nclex pn and i want to move away from Ny for a change of scenery. I love atlanta but a big factor is pay. Online it says the average salary is $49,000. I wanted to know what LPNs start off at with no experience. Where I live they start around 16-20 an hour. Plus... does GA accept NY license transfer. Thanks for your time

Pearson Vue Trick - Does it Work Every Time? Part 2
Hello everyone. i took my nclex for the 3rd time today and got the good pop up! I did the PVT before and it went straight to credit card page and of course i failed. I am so glad to be done! For all those who have failed. Never give up! Never. I graduate in feb 2010 and just passed nclex. I quit my min wage job a month ago and and studied hard. 100 mandatory everyday. 4 diseases a day. Memorized insulin. Drugs classes. Main drugs ect ect ect.. Main point is never give up! We didnt work hard in school to let a money making state test hold us back from what we wont to do!

I am scheduled to take my test 9/9/11 and feel ready! I live in binghamton ny and were in a state of emergency due to a major flood! The center was closed today and most likely tomorrow. If this is the case. What should i do? Should i study? What should i study or do? And has this happened to anyone before.

Nclex Tips and Motivation
Hello I am a male graduated nurse from upstate NY, and i have been reading posts from this site for a long time. I will be taking my NCLEX for the 3rd time on friday september 9th. When i graduated nursing i worked for 6 months as a GPN, and i know i should have taken it before but o well. The first time i took the test i didn't study at all and was rushed to take it to keep working...Failed with 85 questions. 2nd time i took the test all i did was around 600 questions and the rationals and memorized some of the lab values. Failed with 205. This has been the longest between tests. I have went through so many changes, financially, emotionally, and physically. Anything i have ever done i have been successful. I was working at a call center making basically minimum wage until one day i got mad at myself and decided i didnt drive 1 1/2hr round trip everyday for school to work here. I quit and decided i am going to take my test and work at it. I am married and have two beautiful daughters and want to provided for them like i want to. This time around i really devoted myself. 100 questions a day for a month (3000). Memorized all labs. Went over major diseases. Drug classifications down. Common drugs. Reviewed Saunders Strategies for Nclex success front and back. Taught diseases to my wife to help me retain it better. Over all i feel way better about my knowledge and and strength as a nurse. This time i am actually excited to take the test. And i would be hurt so bad if i didnt pass this time. Thankyou for your time and listening to me. Sorry for all the typos lol. Have a great day!
