  1. this info is about 4-5 years old now. does anyone have updated information on pay in ct?
  2. Definitely not proud of this, but I've been polar opposite of most of you. You all hopped right on registering and buying books and all... I got accepted to Capital and we have our orientation next Friday, the 15th. I saw on the letter that a professor will be going over the Medication Calculation book and software then. Do we have to bring that with us? I haven't purchased it yet. Will get kicked into high gear with getting it, if so. Other than health form and registering, is there anything else that has to get done/purchased/whatever by the 15th? I feel like a loser already posting this, but I don't want to lose my spot because I missed something minor. Thanks in advance for the guidance!
  3. did you mean wait listed for 2011 start? if so, that was with the old version of teas, right? so from what I understand, 83 really wasn't anything amazing. which school were they wait listed at?
  4. awesome! good luck. you'll have to let us know how you did! I bet you'll do fine. It was my observation that anyone who has taken the prereqs for the program (including Intermediate Algebra) in the recent past, hasn't had much trouble.
  5. I'm still trying to pick my school of first choice. I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't know. I'm debating between NVCC and Capital. I live in between the two so it'll be the same with clinical sites. I know that's usually what people base their decision on. I just posted in the following: https://allnurses.com/ct-nursing-programs/ready-apply-ct-639481.html I'd appreciate anyone's input on choosing school of first choice and feedback on grades/teas score to figure out where I stand. Thanks!
  6. Hi! This is my first post. So excited. :-) I am insanely curious where I stand compared to others applying. I've asked at 3 different schools where I stand, knowing full well that it'll depend on others applying at each school this year, but they haven't given me any feedback other than we'll see and do the best I can. So... right now I have a 3.52 GPA. I am in AP1 and currently have a 97.7 in the class. I took the teas v and got 86%. I've been debating taking it again to try to get a higher score. Thoughts?
