  1. RN in FL- great response. I have been looking for what a "day in the life" would be as an insurance cm. I am a cm at a hospital and have been wondering if the grass is greener working from home. Thanks for the details. Do you get any free time during the day for anything but work?
  2. I have been a nurse 17 years. Hated every minute the first 14 (bedside). 3 yrs as a cm and have loved every minute!!! Go for it.
  3. Yes you would be crazy to not take this job! :-)
  4. I tried "googling" this but nothing comes up. We use Interqual at my facility. What is the difference between the two?
  5. Interesting about the GRE. I took it about 10 yrs ago. Did average. I graduated from UF in 96. I am interested in FAU NP program. They are right down the street from me. The only thing is they only accept for Spring. I have no idea how many applicants for the slots. Will be a long wait.
  6. I live in Florida and did see FSU has a program online for NP. They require the GRE and I am not taking it. What do you know about USF? I looked at their website, did not get the impression it was online. Do you know anything different about USF?
  7. Anyone have anything positive or negative to stay about Florida NP programs. I am in the South Florida area and interested in a few schools. Feedback would be appreciated. Any schools that offer minimal to no on campus time would be great. Thanks.
  8. I just started working in an outpt surgery center. I remove iv's all day. What are some tips to reduce bleeding at the site? It seems a lot of pt's even after holding pressure still bleed after they get dressed. Thanks
