What's Your Best Nursing Ghost Story?
Not nursing related but both are RN now. I was about the age of 10 and stayed home from school for being sick. Me and my sister have always been best friends. Well she decided to stay home as well think she was 20 and in college at the time. I wanted to play hide and seek in our backyard it was around 2 pm sun up and clear day!!! After I was counting I began to look for her and found her smiling at me on top of the garage on the roof!!! Me thinking it was odd she was up their said" come down" she just smiled. I then hear someone behind me say who are u talking to ? it was my sister to this day I have no idea what it was on the garage. House is about fifty years old we lives in it for about 30 years . someone apparently died in a fire in that garage and you can still see burn marks on the old wood ......

Ghost presence during shift
Anyone have any personal ghost stories from work. Recall feeling a cold presence in a room after a pt passed! call light in empty rooms going off! My personal story is of a child that pts seem to see outside the window, of course it's on the eigth floor and the pts usually are terminally ill.

Mean and Ruthless Nurses who are receiving your report
Politely interrupt her behavior and say " let me finish report and I can try to answer your questions" after which you will advise her to look at the chart and read her labs more specifically if she is not satisfied with wnl. Seriously what is she trying to be a nephro and who in what state of mind would even provide care just by taking someone's word Of labs etc....... Like judge Judy says" I want it in writing" so she should already have to look more specifically herself.

Orientation and Job NOT what was promised, want to quit!
Good job on becoming an RN. Having worked many specialties etc.... I would say Your correct into thinking this place is not good. Advice resign , resign ASAP better Yet RUN!!!! That place sounds like a step away from lawsuits if that has not happened yet. Try private duty home health take a g button case till you find a better job. Try the agencies around your area. Forgive my typing as it's from an iPhone. Goodluck !
