Yes! that was September 7 to be precise. Then they emailed me sept 15 that they already received my documents and that they will be assessing it. After a month (oct 15), I got a call from my aunt (i lodged my application thru her) that they have sent back all my documents together with the payment, and have left a note saying that i should use the new form and some reminders regarding the new form. it was too frustrating but still that's the way it is. hi guys! i was wondering if you know bps that commences on june or july for year 2012? i browsed the approved bps at nmba wbsite and if i'm not mistaken, most of them are feb intakes. i'm hoping to make it next year; since, i had problems with my application that i had lodged first week of last month. because they already require the latest app form (agos40) which was published on the third week, my documents were sent back to me and etc. but still, i'm really keeping my hopes up in making it. thanks to our fellow nurses who successfully made it for the feb intake this coming year for posting their timelines and stories, they really inspire me to be more diligent and patient :) stay positive! :redpinkhe

Hi Guys! I'm a bit anxious about my application. My documents were received by AHPRA VIC last Sept 15; it was confirmed by e-mail. I mailed them all of my documents except my IELTS result and my cert of good standing because the email says something like 'my application is currently being assessed and I will be notified if any further information is required'. Do I have to wait for them to instruct me to send them those documents? I've been thinking they might ask for anything else aside from those that's why I haven't taken action of doing anything after that email. Can you share some of your experience alike? I am very open to any suggestions, if you may share some. TIA To God be the glory..

Hi. I am also a RN here in PH. And I'm really interested on becoming an RN, RRT. After posting this, have you gained an idea to where here in PH will you find a short course that could make us a registered RN,RRT? TIA :)

Based on my understanding, BPs usually just take 12-13 weeks. Where have you seen BPs with 1 year? I'm eager to know, because we do have the same situation regarding the IELTS result. TIA :)

Thank you for the replies I received regarding my queries on my last post. Just to share: Well, I am really planning to resit for IELTS whatever result I may receive from AHPRA. My original plan was to have the BSN course before I took the IELTS last Nov 2010, I also had my offer letter from Holmesglen thru IDP Makati. To cut the story short, I decided to try applying for a BP instead. Since the primary requirement is an eligibilty letter from AHPRA, I came up with the requirements but the sad part is I should resit for IELTS again even if I had an over-all band score of 7. (7-7-6.5-8). I already submitted my requirements yesterday and I'm saving money for the IELTS fees :) May God bless us! :)

oh, i see. thank you for that. but can you enlighten me on what i know regarding this? ahpra will be the one to assess if you are eligible for registration, so since you have been given a letter for eligibility to undergo a bp, is it because you are not yet eligible for registration (your qualification was not enough for their standards)? and since you have not provided the required band score. do they have the right to at least give the applicant an option to resit for ielts/ undergo english course while doing the bp? tia :)

hi everyone! i need your opinion on this matter. the required ielts band score is 7 across for all the 4 components. and is applicable for application for registration as a registered nurse in au. the applicant was able to meet the over-all band score of 7 but has 6.5 in one component, and the purpose of submission of requirements is for assessment only. what do you think ahpra will do with such case? 1.will they proceed on assessing the documents? 2.will they recommend for an ielts retake without the eligibility letter for bp 3. or they will give an eligibility letter and ielts result depends on where you take the bp? note: considering that the application's only problem is the ielts result.

I have the same concern with no.1.. but I prefer sending it upon confirmation that they received my documents. It's up to you :) But I hope somebody will enlighten us about this matter. Certifying your passport will be with a notary public. What do you mean by prc?.. license? It's same with other documents, it is through a notary public. note: I'm open for any corrections :)

hi everyone! i am planning to pass my documents tomorrow. and i really need your help. i have attached the documents that i know i have. but my main problem is filling up agos -04, specially for the following questions: (kindly enlighten me about this, i'm begging you t_t) question no 6. is your residential address the same as your principal place of practice/employment in australia? (i'm confused what to write on this item; i'm choosing between my longest employment period but it was not recent, or the one that i'm currently employed to?) [/i] question 11. what are the details of your qualifications and examinations/assessments? (what will i suppose to write? does it include my ielts exam, bachelor's degree and secondary education? or just my registration as a nurse (prc) only?) your help will be appreciated, as in! :) tia.. god bless us all!
