Dont worry,its mostly simple stuff. microwave meals,sandwiches soups,sometimes just reheating leftovers.... If your not sure on what they should eat just ask! It should be on their plan of care sheet if they cant have anything.

Isnt that so nice of them to screw us over like that...UGH. Ya I thought home health would be perfect since I need specific hours...I guess not....

Ok about two weeks ago I signed on with an at home health care agency. They said they would call me with a job the first week...I have called them several times to see whats up but they keep saying they dont have anything right now... I went up there to get my ID badge made but their camera batteries were dead,they said come back in tomorrow..I did...And they still didnt have new batteries...They told me to go back the next day...Its kind of far from my house and im thinking what in the world is going on. How hard is it to get some darn batteries....Im starting to think maybe I should look for something else? Is this how all home health agencies work? I thought there would be a ton of jobs to do...

Thats horrible,Sounds like you are an amazing CNA! I havent ever been terminated so im really not sure if they can tell or not...Hope all works out for you!

I love it because every one that Ive taken care of,they have such amazing stories.They are full of stories. I just imagine myself in their position. How would I want to be treated,how embarrassing would this be to me to have someone clean me up....I love working with people young and old and always will....

I always keep one of those vicks inhalers in my scrub pocket......

Scrubs for an interview? Ive never worn my scrubs. Just wear Nice pants/slacks and a nice blouse....

Hello all. While going to cna classes did you ever have to do demonstrations in front of the class? Im about to start my classes in a few weeks...Im very nervous. I dont do good on the spot and in front of groups....Are there any tips you can give? Thanks!!!
