  1. Hey there, Please don't be frustrated...I know how it feels, i have been there...took the nclex exam for the first time in August and i failed it....Its been a rough road since then....we can talk and encourage each other....Send me your email address and we can help each other out...I met a really good friend on this website and we've been encouraging each other!! Keep your head up...you are not the only one there! Take it easy!
  2. They don't highlight anything when you take the Nclex exam....I doubt what your friend said...one thing you have to do when you take your exam is staying focused and not trying to remember if they asked you that question before or not....just answer it and keep it moving...Good luck!
  3. Hey there, Was wondering if we could have a study group of about 2 to 3 people.....this is how i use to study in nursing school and it really helped....We can chat through skype...i am planning to take my exam early dec.....This is my second time taking the Nclex...Been studying hard and i have plenty of resources that we can share....send me your email address if you are interested! Thanks a lot guyz!
  4. I just bought the LaCharity book and Kaplan 2010-2011 book....with this economic crisis, i can't afford to take the kaplan classes...but i have taken the hurst review before i graduated this past May. Plus am also using virtual ATI.....what are you using??
  5. Thanks dear...am really trying hard to stay positive....uggghhhh:uhoh3:
  6. you gotta be careful by not giving up too soon...i was on the same boat last week....i took the nclex and 8 hours later i did the PVT trick that took me straight to the cc page....i was heartbroken after reading numerous threads about it being true...two days later, i found out that i had failed the nclex....the only thing about it is that you now have to wait for your board of nursing to send you another att number(that's how they do it in texas, you gotta apply like you did the very first time) and then pay pearsonvue...it's very expensive but we gat this....it does not matter if you are a straight A or B student....Nclex knows how to test someone's weak areas!! Don't lose hope...you will be fine!! Good luck!
  7. Believe me, last week i was on the same boat with you....i got to the credit card page and after reading numerous threads on this website about it, i found out it is true.....I failed the nclex last week....don't worry, it took me about a week to get over it and take heed....you are not alone...we are together!! study hard for the 2nd one....good luck!!
  8. hey there, my email is [email protected] you so much....God bless you!
  9. Hey there, am wondering where i can get those kaplan question trainers from?? Please let me know...thank you!
  10. Am telling you i just love this website...this has been my new favorite website, forget facebook....I have been able to get courage and hope after finding out last week that i failed the nclex for the very first time!! I feel like am not alone, i was very embarassed and staying indoors, didn't want to be bothered.....Lets keep each other motivated each and every day! I want to keep the fire burning, i know i have to start from scratch again, after spending about three months studying for the nclex with the ati virtual review, hurst and saunders....Please Lord, help us through this tough road....if we passed nursing school, we can surely pass the NCLEX!!!
  11. Trust me, i feel the same way too.....I have read so many threads where people have taken the nclex 5 to 6 times....I spent about three months preparing for NCLEX. I felt like the world was out to get me....I worked so hard, dedicated my time and then come to find out i failed, i was a complete mess....It has taken me about a week to recuperate....My motivation is, people have passed the NCLEX the second time, why can't i do it too....Its so embarassing telling people that i've failed the NCLEX, am walking down the hall of shame....I have asked God several times, why me?? i studied so hard and prayed that you guide me through the exam, then just to find out i have failed...please keep in touch with me so we can motivate each other or even exchange the tools we have to study for the NCLEX......stay positive...if you passed nursing school, you will pass the NCLEX!!
  12. Hi there, I am so confused on what books i want to buy....i have placed an order for the La Charity book as i have read such good comments about it......The hurst review was awesome, it helped me a lot....I don't know about doing the ATI virtual review again coz my tutor has assigned me the same tests that I did before taking the NCLEX.....I would really love to take the Kaplan review, but with this recession, seems like am not able to afford 500 dollars for it.....I believe we are gonna pass it the second time....I get discouraged here and there, but i believe in myself that i will pass the second time with flying colors....please keep in touch with me so we can motivate each other....am so embarassed to tell my friends that i failed the nclex.....
  13. Hey there, Just took the NCLEX for the first time last week and found out that i failed. I used Hurst review, ATI Virtual Review and a little big of the Saunder's 5th edition. My NCLEX exam had a lot of priotization and delegation questions, which i think are the ones that made me fail....I believe i need more practice with tackling NCLEX style questions....ANy suggestions out there?? Thanks guyz!
