older edition of books
I found the 6 edition of the Taylor fundamental book on amazon bran new with the original cd still enclosed, with shipping it only cost me 5.56. Call me frugal but it seem silly to spend $10.00 on a note for one subject when you can get a whole book for less than $10.

It's time to study
I'm officially done with A&P II with and sociology at the local school. I m ready to start studying for Transition. How do you know the study note from quizlet or flashcard exchange is good. Beside comparing it to the book, I would hate to use them and the information are wrong. Anyone want to share their study guide I'll take them...

I need some motivation
I have a medsurge book and fundamental book a friend who finish the bsn program gave me and I will be searching all over the net for other books and will invest on sg 101 notes or any other free study material I can find. I have a good nursing diagnosis book I need to dust off. Approx how many hrs total you've spend studying for each test you've taking so far. I know everybody study differently I m just asking.

I need some motivation
EC already reveiwed my transcript, I only need a&p II, micro, sociology and math plus info lit. I just can't seem to get the ball rolling, my plan was to start a&p II with straighterline, then micro, after that clep sociology then leave math for for a later time. I only work 22 hrs a week at an ASL, and stay home with my 7mths old during the week and my 6 yrs old in school during the day. Some time it seem the day goes by so fast and I don't see what I did during the day, and at bed time I m beata and just want to crawl into bed. I m starting to get mad at myself, I feel like I've wasted enough time already....

Role of nurse in assisted living?
We can't give injection, no IV's, trach, wound care or gtube since it's assisted living you don't get a lot of hand on clinical experience. Of course you still have to assess the resident if they complaint about any issues, than depend on their condition you can send them to the hospital via ambulance, have their family bring them to the dr or if they on service with vna than they can come and assess the patient as well. Also maybe different depend on the asl

I think ec is what I need
Okay so you only took ec a&p exam, did you focus on their study material or you use an a&p2 book. I was thinking of taking it at a local college but it will cost over $300 maybe taking the test will be better. Also is the credit earn for the excelsior a&p transferable to other school?

I think ec is what I need
Hello, I will be applying to excelsoir this coming week, I know once I enroll they will be able to tell me what credit is transferable or not but I have some question anyway. My question here is if I already have a&p 1 do I still need to take ec's a&p since they cover both. I spoke to an excelsoir rep and she said a&p 1 is enough for the Applied in nursing program, but another rep told me no. Also with aleks do I have to be fully enroll to have ace transfer the credit to ec. I wanted to start with information lit, micro, than the transition and health and safety, but I need to figure this a&p thing out Some say basic math is enough and some say no, have anyone was able to get the basic math accepted I really need to get motivated, I was able to finish my lp program while working full time , I had one kid at that time. I have a baby now, going to class is not an option for me right now, not to mention the stress of writting entance essay, interviews, and competing with 100 of applicant... I m in MA I'll be looking for study materials also. Thank you in advance...

Congradulation Tasha, Reading your post is giving me a boost to get the ball rolling. I have most of my pre req done except for a&p 2 and micro as for math I only have elementary algrebra so I may need another math. I was debating if I should do micro at a local college or throught ec / clep. Right now I m home during the week with me 3 mths old and only work in the weekend so I should be able to find ample time to study I just need to get the courage to start.... If you don't mind msg me the info for the video and audio provider you use.. also anyone here in MA...

Hello my fellow LPN, I've been an LPN for two yrs and ready to start looking for an RN school. Currently I only have A&P 2 and Micro to take then I'll be done with my pre reqs. I wonder if I can take these last two classes online and where. I m currently in MA Northshores area, and also a good school without a strick entrance policy....
