  1. Jujhen- I'm 22 now and just got my license. It IS possible to get your license with a little one.. Just more hard work! But I'd suggest trying to take it before baby. Your whole life is going to be about the little one once he/she is born :-)
  2. The only thing that I think kaplan helped me with was getting ready for taking many questions. I never did the qbank questions and only did 1,2,3,4, and 6 of the q trainers. I took the nclex yesterday and found out i passed today. I felt that the kaplan questions were WAY more difficult than the actual nclex. Something that can't be stressed enough though, if you dont know the content, nothing is going to help you. So I would get ATI or saunders and just answer question after question and read every rational.
  3. I know exactly where you are coming from. The only thing I thought when I walked out of the testing center after my nclex was "Gosh i hope I dont let my parents down". I always wanted to be a nurse and I ended up getting pregnant when I was 18. Some of my family members said "there goes her schooling". I was determined to prove them wrong and finish school so I could provide for my baby. Congrats on your pregnancy and use that wonderful baby as extra motivation. I graduated in May and took the nclex yesterday, found out I passed today. I did the kaplan in class and online. I would suggest the kaplan online if you want to answer a lot of questions. The kaplan questions in my opinion are WAY more difficult than the nclex so if you're able to do well with kaplan, you should have no problem passing the nclex next time. Good luck dear!
  4. 1. C 2. B Those are kind of tough, im second guessing myself! haha
  5. If you have done Kaplan and Saunders, you should have test taking strategies down. I believe that the only thing I got out of the $400 kaplan course was knowing what to expect with the questions and some strategy tips. I personally think that if you don't know the content, no test taking tips will help. I would find out what your weaknesses are pertaining to content and go hard on them.
