  1. Oh because it says respond via email only, but you can't type on the form.. Yes I am so nervous and excited!! Are you still waiting on CSUSB?
  2. Congratsss! ahhhh I got accepted too! We'll be in the program together! I'm choosing this school over the other schools because it's so much closer to home :) So excited and shocked because I didn't think I would get in!!! How do you respond to them though?
  3. What time is the orientation on Tuesday? Congrats to the future RN's! :)
  4. I got rejected too! But I'm not surprised either. I guess I'm going to have to stick with ADN program for now. I believe everything happens for a reason. I know eventually we will become RNs. Hopefully you get in CSUSB Dark! It's okay if things don't work out the way we want them to because there are differnt ways to achieve our goals. We just have to stay positive!
  5. I'm not sure exactly how many points he had but I know it was 20 or less :/
  6. My friend received a letter in the mail two days ago. Unfortunately, he didn't get accepted. Good thing he got the mail right before he was about to pay the $100!
  7. Yeah it sucks.. I feel so discouraged. They should have at least emailed us if we didnt get in. I guess bsn for me too.. Unless I dont get accepted either :/
  8. Congrats!! I didnt get an email... So I most likely didnt get in :/
  9. Has anyone heard from PCC yet?
  10. I got 79! Yours isn't bad. I dont think you need to retake it either but it doesnt hurt to try and aim for a higher score especially since it is so competitive.
  11. Yes i took my teas test but i think i should retake it to get a better score..i just havent had the time to study and retake it. I live so far from csula.. It is an hour away from where i live! But im still going to apply..
  12. Oh congrats about your job and that chem test!Thats really great! yes i am going to send all u application stuff to CSULA after thanksgiving.. Deadlines on dec 1. Have you applied there yet?
  13. Nothing from pcc :/ good thing ive been busy with school so time is going by a lite fast.. Do you think we will hear from them in the beginning or end of dec?
  14. Are you serious? Ugh I just want to get this waiting process over with already!
  15. So we should be expecting an email this week? Ahh im nervous too!
  16. That scares me! I'm just telling myself that if I don't get in, it only means that there's another program better and meant for me! lol. trying to think positive. I'll be okay..because I even applied to the cal states and so it wouldn't be a big loss if I could apply to their nursing programs. I just REALLY have to get accepted to one of the nursing programs then I'll be happy! haha
  17. Yes, Rio HOndo starts their generic ADN program in the fall. My friend who got accepted will start in fall..I don't remember if I accidentally said spring.. The application to get in the prerequisite class already passed, but to get in the actual nursing program, I don't really know..sorry..
  18. lol i don't know..tears of joy? haha. I don't want to plan or think about how I'll celebrate because I don't want to get my hopes up and then..get rejected lol. Do you have plans?
  19. Ahhh I'm soooo nervous! I was more positive a few weeks and months ago..now I'm starting to think negative. Can't help it :'(
  20. Yeah rio hondo accepted my friend too! Goodluck to all of us! RCC will send their acceptance emails by late December. They sent me an invitation to take the TEAS but I already took it.. pcc is my number one choice though :)
  21. I know.. Few more weeks!
  22. fortunately they did find jobs right away. they work in telemetry. its okay, we'll accomplish our ambitions too! :)
  23. They both graduated from Mt. San Antonio College. One graduated in 2007 and the other in 2009. They loved it. They said they were really prepared for the NCLEX. Yeah they love what they do. They always tell me that even though the job itself can be very stressful, being able to create an impact on their patients' lives especially when they appreciate their nurses is such a rewarding feeling. It's sad sometimes because some patients don't have families/friends that visit them, and so their nurses are the only ones that could really be there for them.
  24. Oh you mailed your application? I submitted mine in person. Yeah I can't believe a B in english matters. I think it's only because it's so competitive nowadays since there are many people applying to the program. They want to limit the amount of people applying by having more requirements. Sucks for us.
  25. Yeah I've read about those too.. We will just have to be patient. "Patience is a virtue" mindset! haha. Easier said than done though. Yeah I guess we are the only ones lol..that's at least something to make us feel like there's not 34983743357 people applying. haha. My friend applied too with B in english. I hope we all get in! Even though I have a 4.0 in sciences and 3.9 in other classes, I got a low teas score (79%), no degree, and no hospital/volunteer experience. We'll just have to wait :/
