Ahh awesome! I got an email too!

Mayo Clinic Externship Phoenix
I honestly don't even remember how many questions I had but I think it was more than 5. I chose 2W, ED and 4E. I'm in the Phoenix area too but I've had clinicals at different sites so far, not Mayo

Mayo Clinic Externship Phoenix
I haven't heard anything but pretty sure interviews are still ongoing. It kinda sounded like we'd hear back in April? Good luck on your interview today!!

Mayo Clinic Externship Phoenix
Oh wow! It was all behavior questions so I just gave them examples of situations and what I did. I'm not sure if it went well or not but I just gave it my best :) When I asked, she said that she has about 3 more weeks of interviews left so I would say it's pretty competitive. I didn't apply to the Rochester one but pretty sure that there are no interviews for that one - I heard they just go off your essays. Best of luck :)

Give up ASU CEP spot for ASU PostBacc?
I decided to just stay with the CEP program before risking my spot. If I would've known for sure that I would get accepted in the Postbacc then I would have gone that route but there was no guarantee (in my situation)

Scrubs and iPhone 6 Plus?
When I took a nursing assistant class before we all were in different groups for clinicals and we had to have our phone on us because our clinical supervisor communicated with us through text where we'd meet after to go over stuff etc.

Scrubs and iPhone 6 Plus?
Thank you!

Scrubs and iPhone 6 Plus?
Hi all! I have an iPhone 6s Plus and I'm wondering if it will fit into most scrub pants (I'm starting clinicals in a few weeks)? Also, is it too big of a phone/does it get in the way? Sorry if this is a super random question

Give up ASU CEP spot for ASU PostBacc?
Hi everyone! I recently got accepted for the Maricopa Nursing CEP program with ASU and I already registered for all my classes etc. when my ASU advisor told me that the ASU PostBacc program might be a better option for me. For that program I would need to take the TEAS exam still and take HCR 220 in order to apply on time this September. I have all A's in all prereq's except for two C's (in Anatomy I and Microbio) but my ASU advisor still thinks that I'd have a shot at getting accepted if I do well on the TEAS. I asked Maricopa if I could defer admission for a semester so I could apply to the accelerated program but I was told that I would have to withdraw and reapply and I might not be guaranteed a spot in the ASU CEP again. The PostBacc program seems like a great option for me though because it's so fast paced and I could graduate and work earlier. If anyone is in the PostBacc program right now with ASU - was it worth it? Would I have a shot at getting accepted? I'm trying to figure out if it'd be worth the risk to wait longer in order to apply to the accelerated program vs withdrawing, reapplying to the CEP program and maybe not getting accepted into the program again. In general, would it be better to take the safe option for nursing and not give up a spot or would it be fine to take a risk?

Pre-nursing healthcare jobs that still pay the bills.
My situation is kinda different - I applied for the ASU CEP program and was told I got accepted and will start online this May and at probably Mesa CC in August - and I personally decided to move back home to save up money and am working two jobs right now, one as a server. It's not a hospital job but since you're in food service already I thought I'd mention it. It pays really well for me honestly.

Choose NAU for CEP or wait 9 months to go to ASU?
I know about NAU's program but I don't really know much about ASU's program because their adviser hasn't gotten back to me. I like NAU's program a lot but I'm not sure about their reputation because I'm from the Seattle area and moved to AZ pretty recently. ASU seems like a great program but I don't know much about their curriculum or what they're focusing on. If I would be fine when choosing NAU and would get a great job with their degree then I would just apply to their program since I'd be done with school a year earlier

Choose NAU for CEP or wait 9 months to go to ASU?
Hi! I'm on the waitlist right now for Maricopa Nursing and I want to apply for the CEP program - my top choice is ASU because of their ranking but because I'd have to complete more prereq's I won't be able to apply to their program until May next year so the earliest I could start is January 2017 ... I'd have 9 months of wait time. For NAU - I'd get in for Fall semester 2016 start and I'd start classes May 2016 I think. Their ranking isn't as good but would that matter a lot when applying for jobs later on? If I'd still get a great job with being a NAU graduate then I'd rather not wait and just choose their program

Question about Maricopa Nursing - CEP program
Hi! I will be done with all my prerequisites and co-req's for Upper Iowa's CEP program by December this year and I will be applying for Fall 2016 semester but I was told by my adviser that I'll definitely get accepted. If I chose to take some other classes for Spring semester 2016 I could also apply to the NAU and ASU CEP program but I'm not sure if taking more prerequisites to get into NAU or ASU would matter? I'm a little worried that UI might not be as respected as NAU or ASU though and I've had some people tell me that it could be an issue when applying to jobs but if the hospitals are just looking for someone with a BSN I would rather just apply to UI I think. Any personal experience or input?
