  1. Hello Alexis417, I just graduated from the ABSN program at Wagner College. If you are interested, I highly suggest meeting with the Undergraduate Director of Nursing at Wagner College. Hope that helps!
  2. I am in the process of writing a letter of readmission. I am at a loss, as well. What did you write about? My issue was I failed the finals for Med/Surg and Pediatrics, which in turn pulled my grades down and I wasn't able to continue with the program. If I had not failed those two finals, I could have maintained the grade requirement. It was literally a matter of a few questions. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, NYCRN2Be13
  3. Hi AggieEMT, I am from the East Coast and am finding it difficult to get into an ABSN. What school did you go to? Thanks, NYCRN2Be13
  4. Hi ExPharmaGirl, Which ABSN program are you currently in? Thanks, NYCRN2Be13
  5. Hi, I am also in NYC and interested in an Accelerated BSN Program. I already have my BS degree. What schools are you looking into? I am looking at those in NJ and PA, but also considering schools in the Midwest. Thanks, NYCRN2Be13
  6. Hi, Wondering what schools you applied to. I have a BS in Psychology and looking at accelerated/second degree programs. I live in New York, and it is very competitive. I am considering moving more west, but an unfamiliar with the programs out there. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, NYCRN2Be13
  7. Hi, I am in the same position, however, I switched to Psychology and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in that major. I am looking into accelerated/second degree programs as well. I live in New York, and it is quite hard to get into programs here (even private schools; it is nearly impossible to be accepted into the public schools here in NY). I am considering moving Midwest, but am unfamiliar with the schools there-what schools (if any) have you been looking at? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, NYCRN2Be13
  8. Hi, I am currently applying to the Columbia ETP for Nurse Anesthesia. I went to the information session and they had mentioned that the CRNA Program only holds 7 seats. This concerns me because I was notified that after ICU experience, I would have to RE-apply to the CRNA Program. I thought the ETP was supposed to guide you directly into the program, without having to re-apply. Thanks!

  10. If you have an A.A., I would continue with a Bachelor's Program in Nursing-that's probably the easiest route to take, although, it may be more difficult (competitive) to get into a BSN Program. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology and am looking into Accelerated Programs for a Bachelor's in Nursing and also looking into Direct Entry Master's in Nursing Programs.
