Advice needed please!
I thought about that!! I do have my brother that lives in Maryland. How long is the program generally? My only concern about moving to another place is finances and a place to stay. But I am willing to "rough it" if I need too......

Advice needed please!
Hello, I am a B.S. degree holder and I am living in California. I am wanting to get into a nursing program (accelerated) but I am having the hardest time. The schools in my city are all booked up and NONE of them offer the accelerated program. I am unable to obtain my prerequisites because the schools have cut 100+ classes in my area and it's like world war II to get into ANY class! Are there any schools that offer the nursing program online (I don't care if it's accelerated or not) that offers the classes ALL online and the clinicals hands on? The clinicals could be in any state. I just want to get my BSN as soon as possible without the 2 year waiting list here. Also, I have no nursing experience, so the RN to BSN programs are not going to work for me. My main concern is being able to get my prerequisites done and see if there is an online way to do it. I need a school who is willing to accept online science classes (which I'm believing to be nonexistent). How about clep tests? Could I test out of a class with those? I'm so frustrated.....I really don't like this city right now.....:uhoh3: Any suggestions?

Online Science Courses
Do online science courses transfer to other schools? I know that here in Cali, the California State Universities do NOT accept online science classes and will not allow for them to transfer.....can they transfer anywhere else?

Will the online science classes transfer? Here in Cali, I was advised by the CSUs that they do NOT accept science classes that are completed online.....

Family-Friendly CA Nursing Schools re: Housing, Childcare
Johannah, if you get a direct student loan, contact me. I work there and can tell you all of the in's and outs's about student loans. There is no need to fear them AT ALL!! I hope that you found a college. I believe that PUC (pacific union college) and UC Riverside has student family housing. You should check them out. I just don't know if they offer nursing....lol!! Good luck and don't sweat the student loans!
