  1. Hi, I am about to graduate from a BSN program in December from Arizona. Can you tell me which city/hospital you are at? I am willing to go anywhere in the states to work in OB!
  2. Did you ever find out any information on working in India? I am interested in the same situation!
  3. Thank you so much for the prompt reply! In Nicuragua and Ecuador, did you do these trips with a particular organization? Half of the trouble I'm running into is just finding a place to volunteer that wont cost me three grand on my part. Did you feel like your experiences helped your resume? That would be a bonus, because my main objective is just go travel and feel like I am getting to do something that is against the flow of "normal" American nursing. I just feel like we are gifted with our knowledge and skills and we should be out in the community helping those who may not have seen medical care or have limited access. Did you get your Cardiac position as a new grad?
  4. HearticultureRN: I am about to graduate from a BSN nursing program in December and am desperate for work abroad. I am from the US and have tried to look up work requirements for the UK, Canada and Australia but am interested in all countries. I noticed that you have worked abroad - where have you worked, and when? Were you able to get a job, or was it volunteering? Did you do this work right out of college or did you wait and have a year of hospital experience in the US first? Many thanks.
  5. Chulada77: I am a Senior in Nursing School (18 month BSN program) and am interested in international nursing. I am very interested in your comments about working in Germany. Would they hire new grads on these bases in Germany? Which base did you work out of? Is there a time commitment that you must promise upon taking a job at the base? Are you paid as a US citizen in dollars? What skills would you preform on the base (was it a clinic, or a hospital)? Thank you so much, I hope that you read this post.
