Thanks so much for the input! I have already started to applying to a number of positions. I have 5 letters of recommendation and plan of taking the NCLEX asap. Im taking a kaplan course right when school ends and im gonna schedule the NCLEX the earliest I can. And, I am certainly not picky. I just want to land that first job. It really takes several months to get your license in NJ?

I'm graduating with my BSN in December and plan on taking my boards in NJ. I'm looking for some input from new grads....who has landed a new grad position recently?? Is the market getting any better? I am looking in the northern jersey area and I am not picky by any means. Any info would greatly appreciated!!!! Thank you

Has anything in the northern NJ area had luck with finding a job before graduation?? I see on other posts that people have a real hard time finding jobs in NJ. Some people I talk to applied early and had jobs set up and others waited until they graduated and took the NCLEX. I go to school in upstate NY and plan on applying in NY, PA, and NJ. Any new grads have experience in applying in any of these three states??
