I have had to take 14 hours. I was advised, like you to do all pre-req before starting, not knowing it was going to hurt my aid. I am having to do BSN course just to make up the credits now.

I start the ADN program at TSU on August 30th. Orientation is on the 25th. I have a GPA of 4.0, and a HESI score of 93%.

Amazon sells access codes for ~$45. Access code + etext $115. If you buy the access code only, you can buy the etext as an extension later. So, Should I get just the access code, or the access code + etext? I think the etext is just a copy of the book in electronic form, which is not worth an extra $70 if I already have the hard copy. Thanks

Has anyone bought MyNursingLAb for Erb's Fundamentals of Nursing without etext access card? It is like $70 cheap. I am wondering if the h etext is simply the textbook in electronic form. If that is the case, I can save and have the hard copy only.

I need to know that too. I did AandP II over the summer, so have not done any research into that yet

I am 37 years old, and starting ADN this fall. This is my second career. I was a police Sergeant in England. I served from 1998 to 2009.

I received and email from the dept. I have copied the text below. I hope this answers all your questions. "Dear Nursing Student, Welcome to the AAS in Nursing Program at Tennessee State University. We are excited about you joining the School of Nursing in August. In the recent letter of admission to which you have already responded, it was mentioned that you would be receiving a packet of additional information by June 1. Please know that the information packet has not yet been distributed. In our efforts to be as inclusive as possible in sharing information which will help you to be prepared for beginning nursing coursework and clinical this fall, we have been slightly delayed in mailing you the packet. The packet is anticipated to be put in the postal mail by Friday, June 10. Please watch for this postal mail delivery. Within the packet will be several materials which have very strict deadlines for return to the School of Nursing, so it will be very important that you review the entire packet carefully and proceed in assuring you meet those due dates. I have not received mine either. I called the office yesterday and left a message. No reply yet. I was feeling a bit nervous. Now I am not the only one. They may just be a bit late.

I received my acceptance around the 17th for the Vol State site.
