Did financial aid tell you that? I called 20 times today. They turned off their phones & their doors were locked.. I just emailed my advisor.. i hope he can help because i am STRESSED out. I dont want a BA so I dont see why i would need to take classes i dont need. It let me finally register & have me a confirmation # but I guess I'll just have to wait to find out if it keeps me in those classes. It still says Warning- FA probation but doesn't give any details..

Does anybody have the problem that 8 hours isn't full time but you need to be full time to get financial aid??? I'm horrified to see that here in the last hour almost. I really don't to have to take more classes because isn't that what they advise against? I didn't know about this until I got home today & registered now that I know what to register for.. and of course the fin. aid office is closed for the day. I'm just hoping one of you were able to find this out sooner and have any suggestions?? I'm freaking out here...

Did you get that big packet of information that was sent out? The one w/ the information about the stuff for the background check, insurance, etc.. I'm going to the main campus so maybe they did it differently. If you got that packet, in there it tells you. I also noticed that on 2 different pages it mentions 2 different version of the clinical skills book.. and of course I had already bought the older one before I noticed that. If Vol State is doing stuff differently than the main campus the reading is probably different.

Well at least i'm not the only one who got it in at minute... i can finally relax now.

Same here, I've already started my reading.. there's a Ton! I'm putting my packet in the mail tomorrow, I'm just now getting my blood test results back...nothing like getting it done at the last minute!

Got my information packet today, took me over 1/2 hour to 'skim' over it. WHEW! Quite the information but that's a good thing I guess!

Has anybody received the information that was 'supposed' to be sent out on June 1st? It still hasn't come to me. I left the nursing dept. a voicemail yesterday and they haven't returned my call yet

thanks for the info, yea the letter says orientation is in late august, i just hope i dont have to wait that long to know what hours i'll be at school.... i like to prepare for stuff like that way in advance or i just end up sit worrying about it all. Yea i'll work part time but prefer to find a job that i can study at when its slow. I heard about being cna cert. after the first semester or so, and there's also nurse extern jobs out there.

Has anybody received the letter that was supposed to be delivered by the 1st? I just re-read my acceptance letter and it says we should get more info by then but here it is the 3rd and it's making me nervous. I'm hoping it really details how much $ we need up front, and what classes to register for because i need to know how much of my student loan to get. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow. Oh, and does anybody have a good idea for a job to do while in school? I need to get a part time job but i'm trying to find something low energy that doesn't require me to be certified in anything. I'm thinking about trying to find a 'sitter job', but most require CNA status so i'm not sure what i'm going to do.

I'd go to Nashville State. I'm sure it will be worth it when you get out, you'll have a lot less debt. My stepdad is pretty smart and he started the Aquinas program a few years ago and ended up quitting, he didn't like it because he wasn't into the religious classes, and he had to work full time while attending and it was too tough to do both. I actually did get into TSU but I was preferring Nashville State. I'll take what I can get though, I've worked so freakin hard for this.

Got my rejection letter today

Same here, still no letter. It would be nice if they would post something on their website instead of telling us letters would be sent out on May 1st.. here it is the 23rd and nothing yet.

Has anybody that interviewed not received a letter stating whether or not you got it? I've been out of town, just got back. Hopefully something will come tomorrow since I know it was mentioned that letters would be sent out by the end of this week.
