  1. Someone on CA new grad without jobs started this petition https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/create-plan-help-new-graduate-nurses-gain-experience-needed-get-nursing-job/9tklTtq7?utm_source=wh.gov&utm_medium=shorturl&utm_campaign=shorturl
  2. I have had no job since my graduation(1.3 years now). If there was a shortage I would have landed a job right after my graduation. I have made over 50 applications even to the surburbans in MA.
  3. Thank you so much. I have been out without a job for 1.3 years. I graduated 2011 with a BSN. My licence is about to expire. I actually decided to go back to college to change the career. It sucks because loan companies get back to ask for loan repayment when one does not even have a job. Thank you for your motivating message.

  5. Give yourself a treat! You deserve it after all this! :yeah:
  6. I did mine last week. There were a lot of SATA. I was doing the questions in a hurry because I wanted to save time. I was also shut at 75! I left there feeling anxious and wondering if I will pass. I came onto this site and read a lot of threads that encouraged me. I learnt about "good pop up" and I checked mine and it was good pop up! It is true! I kept checking for two days and on the third day, I got the message in red turn to "you can check quick results by paying 7+ dollars". I was so nervous! I went on to check if it is still good pop-up before I proceeded! And it was still good! So then I went ahead to check! Oh I was soo happy to see PASSED. For those that haven't done the NCLEX yet, Saunders is good. I dropped my ATI practice and bought saunders new edition and did it for 6 days. It is also advisable to look through the notes(lippincot or Saunders) for systems that that you do not understand(especially medsurge). Now what? I am done! No jobs! I wish you all the best of luck and don't worry too much, sleep enough the day before the exam to get your mind clear! And, eat enough to provide you enough glucose!
  7. I feel the same way! I did mine on Friday too.
  8. Well I just finished my BSN. We had several managers from different hospitals come to talk to our class to talk to us about the job market out there. They said that it will be hard to get jobs in this economy but once it gets better, some nurses that expected to retire will retire and we get jobs. All I can advise you is use your time now get your education to the level that you want instead of getting a job and then try to juggle the two.
  9. Nitro increases the risks of hypotension too.
  10. Nice to read your perspective! I did my NCLEX yesterday! It stopped me at 75! I am really freaking out now because I feel like I did not answer any question right! I got really anxious! I read threads of emails that say check for good pop up. I did check and I got the good pop up but is that true? Oooh I do not wan't to go through a lot of study again. I studied full time for this exam!:crying2:
