    Some certifications require experience in the area before you can even take the test, eg NCC certs.

  2. RNC-OB....what book do I need??? Help!!

    Heather, Took my RNC in OB this AM and passed. The Perinatal Nursing book by Rice-Simpson helped alot. I read it and did the test questions in the back. I also had the CCPR practice tests that you can purchase. I had 2003,2007, and 2009. If there was a question I didn't know I read about it and kept retaking the tests until I go them all right. The questions on the RNC test are not necessarily the same but if you know the answers to all those you will be able to figure most of them out. There are also a number of strips to interpret so make sure that you know Chapter 8 pretty well......Good Luck
