mrs.northman yeah, it was too bad. hehehe. anyway, things happen for a reason. i hope you will make it. i do have a former classmate who took the exam unfortunately he knows the "certified true copy thing" he did not even mentioned it to us even though I am the one who informed him about the exam. hehe. Bitter? i still want to take the apcn program i guess the next batch will be on February. it do have a big bearing in your staff application. if you failed the exam, i guess you can take it again right? anyway, that's life. ^^

New thread that will lead us to New job and trainings
.yes i agree too. this thread is kinda helpful. i had read some and i would like to share some of my latest experience in job hunting. yesterday, we went to jose reyes hospital and according to the Lady in the Chief nurse office. (I also assume she is the chief nurse) they dont accept applicants as well as trainees as of this moment. Then, we went to San Lazaro hospital (the environment is pathetic though:))just at the back of the previous hospital and guess what? they are accpting applicants for staff position. go there and get your there form as well as other requirements. according to the Hr, they will screen it and there will be an exam. they will just call (i just hope they will). then, we head to fabella hospital. they dont accept applicants for staff position but they have a training. (accdg to one of the hr staffs, you nid to undergo their training first before you will get hired) but that is not an assurance also coz u nid to undergo screening and exam again after the training. training is the prerequisite of the staff position chance. 6K for 6mons. we also went to metropolitan (for me this hospital is superb. the ambiance is good, the temperature is so relaxing it almost made me fall to sleep and the employees... DAMN! so pretty! especially the receptionists. haha) anyway, they are accepting applicants also. and as always, u dont need to call them, because they will call you according to them. .we went to pgh. i failed to pass one of the reqts for their apcn program and im so ****** off. grrr.. i will not talk something about pgh today because im still depressed due to my ignorance. hehe .the same day, we went also to madocs they're accepting applicants just inquire where is padilla bldg. .later that day we went to Ospital ng Maynila. (we just walk from lrt quirino to osma because the fare in the "padyak" is tremendous. 50 pesos. haha. and were running out of money) going back to the hospital, well, good news. theyre accepting trainees again. 3 nurses at the nursing service office was so hospitable.^^ but not the ------ anyway, dont ever ever mention the word volunteer. say training instead. according to them, the application files are building again for their training program for 3 mons. yes. 3 mons. before it was 2 mons only. theyre on freeze hiring for staff position. whew.. i guess your tired enough to read this. im sorry if my grammars are wrong i dont have time to edit or browse this again.. that's it for today, i have visited lots of hospitals already and actually im getting tired of Hospital shopping but its enjoyable though. im dec 2010 board passer and my ojt in a hospital wil start this july or aug. but im still hoping that i can search for a better hospital to start with. thanks for the infos that you've share colleagues. God bless us all. may we use our license to serve not only ourselves and our families but also those who are really in need.^^

thanks Drifter.^^ luckily i got one of the deans form. but according to one of the staffs only 45 will be absorb for the training.:c but im still optimistic that i will be one of them. i also went to the nursing service to register for the exam for december and according to him out of 400 examinees sometimes only 4 passed the exam. hahaha.! im excited to try that examination. i guess you bro are so great that u passed the series of exams there in PGH. im also looking forward to work in that hospital though i know it will take me 2-3 years to be a staff.^^
