  1. @Vitiana - Yes it really is a 10 month program, very very fast paced. You need to take the TEAS test at Assabet, not really sure what community colleges need. You do not need to take any pre-req's but if you took A&P 1 & 2, nutrition or life span psych, you could opt out at Assabet. It just lightens your course work & give you more study or skills practice time. We have an information session coming up on December 15th from 9am to 11 am where you come in & we as students tell you a bit about the program & you get to see our lab & we demonstrate skills. if you are interested in the info session, you can sigh up online @ Assabettech.com. I hope this helps, BTW I am loving the program.
  2. Quinsigsamond Community College offers a course. This course looks like it might be complete, but I'm sure they will offer more classes. http://cce.qcc.mass.edu/college/coursewithshoppingcart.asp?Closing=NO&CourseID=3993&txtSearch=IV%20therapy
  3. There is an IV Therapy certificate course offered through Quinsigamond Community College I can't get on the website for some reason but the web address is http://www.cce.qcc.mass.edu
  4. Congratulations! I have been accepted to the Assabet Tech LPN program in the Fall & I heard it's a tough program being full time 7:30 to 2:30 everyday but I'm sure we will do great.
  5. Anyone attending or have attended the Assabet program. Very excited to be accepted & this program works perfectly for my family. I plan on going on for my RN, I just can't wait to be accepted to an RN program & while I'm doing my LPN I have already started my pre reqs form my RN. I am just really excited.
