  1. Orientation is on last week of May & next orientation first week of July
  2. I have one week to get ready for it. NLN recommended a book so I got that, but its alot of medications to get familiar with in a week. Do you remember any medications they might have asked about.
  3. Thank you for the response. I am glad that you got a job. I didn't get an offer yet, but I was informed that next orientation is in 3 weeks. So I wanted to be prepared for the exam ahead of time. I was never good at pharmacology, so I'm very worried that I might not pass. I think that they give 2 chances & if you don't pass they don't hire you. It would be just a disappointment to fail I am surprised that they don’t provide any studying material to prepare for the exam. I am a new grad, so I don’t know a lot of medications. Do you at least remember any medications that they asked about?
  4. Congratulations! I am happy for you; I hope it all works out. I wanted to find out what's the passing score. Is it computerized, if it is can we return to previous questions. How many questions and how much time they give for it. What percentage of the exam was on Medication Administration (calculation questions) and if they provide a calculator. Was there any questions with definitions (pharmacological terms). How did you study for it and if they gave you any hints? Can you recommend a text book or a website to study from? Thank you so much for your response. I really appreciate your help.
  5. Hi. I was informed that my next step in the hiring process is Pharmacalogy Exam. Since its only few weeks till next orientation, I have very little time to study for it. I am very scared, since I was never good at pharmacalogy. Any tips on how to study. Thanx!
  6. Has anyone taken their exam recently? Do any of you have some good pointers to study for their pharmacology exam? Do you remember what types of questions were on it? Is there anything that you would have done differently to study for it when looking back? Thanks for any and all of your help! You can send me a private message
