  1. Thank you for the information. I'm currently attending SUNY for my pre-reqs.
  2. Thanks. I have spoken to anyone from Pace yet. I would have to defer my enrollment for next year September. By then, I should be done with all of my prereqs. As for the HESI, where exactly do you schedule to take the exam? Also do you think I could get in without any prereqs done? Does Pace have an entrance exam? Sorry for asking so many questions.
  3. I haven't taken the HESI yet. Did you take the HESI exam with Pace? I actually don't have any prereqs done except English comp and other non science courses. I will be taking my first prereq courses this September. My Gpa right now is 4.0. I hope I could keep it like that.
  4. Yay congratulations! I haven't heard anything yet. I applied on June 27, but didn't send my $50 payment until July 6. When did you apply? What was on the HESI exam?
  5. I applied on June 27th through their website. Have done any pre-reqs?
  6. Hi Charlotteng. Did you hear from Pace? I'm looking to apply to their nursing program as well.
  7. Sorry. What I meant was, what exactly do you need to get admitted to their nursing program? Can you be directly admitted to their nursing program without having to complete the pre-reqs? Or can you be admitted while still taking pre-reqs somewhere else?
  8. Is chemistry the only course needed?
  9. Keep studing and have faith. You will get through it. Good luck!
  10. Why not start at a community college?
  11. Thanx! It looks like a lot.
  12. Hi all! What are the pre required courses for the rn program in Westchester community college?

  17. Has anyone attended Westchester Community College for nursing? I would like some insight on the school. Is it hard to get in their nursing program? Thanx!
  18. How do I find out if the school is on a quarter system? I would love to finish my cores that fast!
  19. And congrats on graduating! I hope u kick butt on the boards!
  20. Thanx! That's what I'm going to do, since I have kids and no money to afford a bsn right now. I'm going to take it step by step until I reach my ultimate goal. Do you think i should enroll in community college while im waiting to enter an lpn program, since the lpn program im interested is all ready full, so i have to wait until next year. I still need to work to be able to support my kids and i and bills. Thanx for your advice.
  21. I want to thank everyone for their advice. Every bit of information counts. I have no one to guide me through this process. You guys helped me get my thoughts more clearer. Now I am in a more clear state of mind. I am grateful. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!
  22. Wow! Thanx! My thoughts are clearer now. I'm going for my Lpn first, for finacial reasons and kids. Do you think I should go to community college to get some rerequirements out the way while I'm waiting to enter an Lpn program. Or should I just wait to finish Lpn program, gain experience, then go for the Lpn-rn bridge?
  23. Thanx a lot! I think I'm going to go the Lpn route and then work my up.
  24. Thank you so much for your advice! I will take it into consideration. In the mean time, while I'm waiting to enter Lpn program, I going to community college to some requirements. I hope god stays with me all the way in the choices I make!
