  1. Hi pam_mac.. Im still waiting for their call.. Im waiting in vain.. Hahaha! Its been more than 3 years already since i started my pgh application.. Im considering working overseas now..
  2. Hi thorabeech.. They sent an SMS asking me to call pgh nursing service office for my final interview schedule..
  3. Yes, i think we really need to have tons of patience for this one.. Haha.. And i think it's much better if you got in without needing a "backer" because a different kind of sense of fulfillment will be there.. Haha.. Anyway, Godbless you in your pgh journey.. :)
  4. Thanks mikeru22! I passed my application in june 2010.. Passed the exam august 2010.. I had my panel interview january 2011.. Then i had my final interview december 2012.. So i've been in the process for almost three years now.. It's really a long and tedious process..
  5. Hi guys.. I had my final interview last december 2012.. Still waiting for their call for deployment.. Do you guys have any idea how long does it take before they call for deployment? Thanks! Godbless for those who are still waiting for their final interviews..

Hi Guys.. Here's an update for those who are in the process of applying as staff nurse in PGH.. I've learned that those who had their final interview this march 2011 had their contract signing last week.. They will start on November 7.. Congratulations guys! c=
  10. @thorabeech and @rnrmrmt.. i can't wait to be your colleagues in PGH! c=
  11. @rnrmrmt.. i'm not surprised.. i mean, that's given.. they really reserve slots for upcn grads.. btw i have a question and i'm just curious.. did anyone fail the final interview? i mean in your batch..
  12. @thorabeech.. you're right! PGH is worth this long wait.. hehe.. it is also true that they prioritize UPCN grads.. too bad we're not UP grads.. haha.. c= @rnrmrmt.. congrats! you're just one step away! c=
  13. hi thorabeech.. it's nice to hear that you passed your exam and the panel interview.. i passed my panel interview this january 2011 and i'm still waiting in vain for the final interview.. we really need to have a lot of patience.. Godbless.. c=
  14. hi johen026 and donnasoriano06.. as far as i can remember, the exam is composed of 4 types of tests.. first part is identification.. they will ask you to enumerate the normal values of the vital signs and other stuffs.. the 2nd part is composed of multiple choice questions mainly focusing on MS.. the 3rd part is drug computation part.. and the last part is enumeration.. they will ask you to enumerate the step by step procedures of suctioning and skin test i think.. the exam is time pressure.. you will only be given 50 minutes to answer all the questions.. from what i have heard, you should only commit less than 10 mistakes for you to pass.. im just not sure if it is true.. also, to give you an idea, the usual passing rate is less than 20%.. im not scaring you guys but usually, there are only 9 to 15 examinees who can pass this exam out of 50 examinees.. the exam really needs critical thinking and proper time management because most examinees weren't able to finish the exams due to its limited time.. Godbless you both and i hope that this reply somehow gave you an idea about the exam in PGH.. c=
  15. hi Ra!nne, RN.. my classmate passed her panel interview in august 2010 and she already had her final interview this march 2011.. she's in the process now of completing the requirements and waiting to be deployed.. i guess you are about to be scheduled for your final interview in the next few weeks since you said that you had your panel interview last september 2010.. btw, we're on the same boat, i passed my panel interview this january 2011 and just waiting for the final interview.. Godbless.. c=
  16. hi anne elliot03.. that exam is for the staff nurse position.. Godbless.. c=
  17. hi anne elliot03.. we're actually talking about the exam and the panel interview as part of the recruitment process for a staff nurse position in PGH.. maybe you are referring to their APCN training.. it is an in-hospital training in PGH that will last for 6 months.. there is a fee of 10,000 pesos for this training and unfortunately, graduates of this training program are not being absorbed by PGH because they still need to undergo the recruitment process.. also, i want to inform you that the application for the APCN training for the august batch is already closed.. the application for staff nurse position also ended this march 25, 2011.. i'm just not sure when the application will resume.. might as well call PGH to ask for the next schedule of applications.. Godbless.. c=

jaycee16, no need to worry about the panel interview because they will just ask you some personal questions.. like about your family, hobbies, etc.. they will also ask about your job experiences if you have.. also, as far as i know, no one's failing the panel interview because no one failed in our batch and the batches prior to us.. Godbless in your interview.. just relax and enjoy answering their questions.. btw, the interview will be on EOP or english only policy.. just so you know.. c=
  19. thanks johnjo.. i appreciate your reply.. c=
  20. hi guys.. just wanna ask about this rn residency program.. 1. is it an uncompensated voluntary work? like trainings in other hospitals? 2. do i need to pay for this residency? how much? for how many months is this residency program? 3. will you be absorbed after the residency? 4. is there an allowance during the training? sorry if i bombarded you with questions.. hehe.. any reply will be highly appreciated.. thanks in advance.. c=
  21. yes they're still accepting.. i think they continuously accept applications.. i went there earlier today and submitted my credentials.. i just don't have any idea about the wait time before they call me for an exam or an interview..
  22. thanks for the reply RNemployed.. i read messages in this thread and it seems that the wait time for the final interview is from 1 to 2 years.. arrrr.. i need more patience.. c=
