I received my paper's grade but no quiz yet. The quiz to me was easy except the SATA questions.. Damn it I hate that format.

I thought this class was going to be a cake walk....but after last night... I'm not so sure.

Thank you all. I started today and I have had some technical issues with 4580. Not the way I wanted to start off the program. However, so far it looks do able. I simply must stay on top of assignments.

Anyone else new to the program? Can anyone old vets provide some honest feedback on what to expect. I've read several of the post but your feelings at the begining of a class might be different than now.

ejay is talking about the course review not the quiz. The quiz presents other questions.. It's not a strongly agree kind of question. Its facts about Inova policy. Again, its really easy and you simply have to read it over the night before. They will highlight the answers in class. You can't get more than 1 wrong.

Very easy and they give you the answers and a guide. I would say 7th grade type questions.

Its cool. Can't complain. Its just kinda helping out by picking up and dropping off drugs.

I got my info today at 12PM but my classmate has not received hers yet. She was told a lot will be sent out tomorrow.

The first Everest class is 6/6 in passing the Nclex

if anyone doesn't know the message " the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time." means that a review of your test is being done. it doesnt mean pass or fail. wait for the results in message.

Nope. I was told Friday but that came an went. They said they are busy so give them some time. I'm going to give them untill Weds. Will we have to buy our own scrubs?

I'm not an Rn but in Nursing school. I have a lot of friends that are currently nurses in NYC and have helped me thru the nursing school process. It depends what part of Virginia. Are we talking Northern VA ( salary is a tad smaller than NYC's), Richmond or Norfolk area ( huge drop in salary). In Northern VA, you can expect smaller patient loads (Med Surg average is 4-5 in most facilities compared to 8- 10 in NY), updated facilities with MAK systems.

I'm currently with Everest and it's difficult to recommend them at this point. The program is very young and some of the foundation is now being laid. I chose it for the speed in which I could enter and get moving. I entered without my Prerequisites and they are rolled into the 2 year program. With Prerequisites. You can graduate within 21 months. Cons: We don't get schedules in advance. The week of the change is not good enough. The Program is new and not accredited. Depending on the first class' scores your future lies in their hands Education value for the price is terrible. Too many Power Point classes, not enough real teaching. Things change all the time (often to help students) Most of your exam questions come from the source material. The information taught in class, rarely appear on the exam. Not sure how a degree from a For-profit school will look to hiring managers. Pros: Professors are compassionate and you aren't viewed as just a number Clinical time is great for learning No 2.5 years on a waiting list. By the time you graduate, you would normally still be waiting to get into school.
