UMD doesnt give you a wait list number. I guess they are waiting for the conformation letter from the accepted students. After that, you will get your result. I hope you will get in!!! My fingers are crossed for you Celinaconejo:)

They will call you if the spot becomes Available for you! Don't give up!! Wait list doesn't mean you are rejected. You still have a chance to get in!!!

I have been following this page but never posted. First of all, congratulations for those who were accepted!! I just checked my status and i am in too!!!!!!! I have waited this moment for a loooong time....I was waitlisted for both fall2011 and spring2012, so I thought I won't be in this time again. I cried too hard and now my eyelids are swollen... Lol I really do hope everyone will hear back soon!!!!!!

Hi everyone. Congratulations to you guys all who got accepted!! I have been on the waitlist since the fall 2011 admission. My status still says "committee ready." I have not got any call from admission office, so I guess I am not in again... I am not in the U.S, so I feel like I am left out! I am extremely disappointed....
