  1. Honestly I think you’re gonna do just fine don’t worry. I saw that there’s an LPN to RN program through Kauai community College, I’m pretty sure the one through Kapi’olani community College is very competitive. I believe there’s a LPN to BSN through HPU As well.
  2. I emailed ------------------------ right now she’s still trying to get through all the applications I think there were 200 that were sent in. 39.5 is an excellent score and I think that there will be no problem with that.
  3. What is the lowest score that someone got on their rubric and was admitted to the program? My total points are 29.5. I still am trying to apply even thought it may be doubtful.
  4. Hi, the company I work for will soon be using pointclickcare. I would like to know if there are any resources so that I can familiarize myself with the software. I am an LPN Thanks
  5. I am trying to find out what exactly is the scope of practice concerning IV therapy in Hawaii? It is unclear to me because in Hawaii there are- No written statement on IV and LPN scope. When I tried looking at the scope of practice for the state it said basically to refer to the NCSBN model act. Can someone please help? 6. hello I just wanted to find out how the nurses that graduate from University of Phoenix LPN to BSN program are regarded by employers? Is this a good program? thank you in advance.
  7. Small minds show themselves fast to be offended. i just thought this comment at the end of a post was really rude and had nothing to do with what was being discussed, obviously this person who posted that comment has a small mind or they wouldnt have said that.
  8. these have to be the most depressing posts that I have read in along time. I am not trying to be rude, but its so sad in this day and age that not only do people have to worry about getting a job, but to be dinged in the age department is deplorable and humiliating.
  9. I have several friends that are in the same boat. do you know of any new grad programs for RN's in Hawaii?
  10. I am so happy I found this site. I am an LPN have been one for about nine years. I am a single mother and want to extend my education. I was ready some really negative comments about EC and the CPNE, but many people are very very positive here. Thanks everyone, I will be starting my journey soon.
  11. Hi I am an LPN considering getting my RN through excelsior college. Can anyone who is an excelsior grad please let me know your experiences and whether or not this route is suggested. Thanks so much
