How do you plan your schedule @ Rescue Ninja2013,

How is everyone? was just wondering if anyone checks this, this last year was really something huh?

How about externships? I want to get some hospital experience, I don't have any work experience in and out of the hospital and I am being one should have some type of work experience either as intern/extern or something in the hospital setting? what do u guys know about that

Hope everyone is enjoying their break! I am :), school starts next week, trying not to think about it? what class are you taking first adult health or OB?

How are classes going for you ?

I was just thinking the same especially since I hear you have to be able to critical thinking and with just looking at the first couple of chapters that are basically on history, definitions etc how do u do that. I am just trying to make sure I know the objectives. Goodluck to all lets keep the tips rolling!

Finally got to register they classes I wanted were not available but I will work with what I have and I have clinical on Friday. My books have started arriving, reality is setting in, I will make sure I enjoy my last weekend before classes, hope the same for you. Don't forget with SW once you register you have to pay immediately if not you get purged out of the system.

Thanks butterfly2000 still waiting on the permits, I will call tomorrow if I don't get it by Lunchtime. Memphish- did you get yours yet?

Still have not received my permits, I have ordered a few of my books, I can't believe we need to have almost all by the first week of class.

I was able to get the mon-thurs from 9am-11 am. Have you guys started buying your books? @ grpman and girlshunt2 is med term class a requirement? Have you been able to do your physical?

Hi guys, How is the summer going? Who is doing your medical form, I don't have a doctor I go to, do you have any recommendation, have you ordered your uniform yet?

@ grpman, I am with you seems there is a lot of hear say about the program fortunately or isit unfortunately I have never heard anything. I will certainly start the program ready to put my best into it! I just came to terms with how expensive the initial costs are going to be, called the health department about the shots, will have to find out a way to get them done with out losing too much pay at work, I am starting with the background checks at the top of my list. Lets keep ourselves posted! In the meantime lets enjoy our last summer :), before the program starts. oh tonmcgwn1 I checked Amazon by just typing the name of the book, from what was said at the meeting it was better to get the latest edition.

Hello Everyone! Girlshunt2:) I plan to start on books, background checks, shots etc after this semester guess after the Orientation. I wonder how long we are going to be there for. I am excited can't wait to start!

Hi got my letter, my schedule is TBA! for one of my classes :) I was told will pick my clincal date during Orientation, used this this weekend to put together the cost for doing the background checks, cpr, etc. I was told we would be given the list of books etc also on the orientation. Has anyone done their cpr certification yet?

Nice! How many classes did you take? I noticed most of the classes don't start earlier than 12noon. Unfortunately won't be able to get there till later

Is any one going to be working while taking classes? I will be going there later in the day too, I called and the Lady said as long as i was there before 3 pm it was fine. Where exactly is the nursing building, do u walk behind the allied building? I hope I won't waste precious time looking for it! :)

I know I have no idea where the nursing school is :), I remember once when I went to get information I went to the nursing school annex and was told it was in another building but the lady there gave me the information I needed never needed to go back there. I read on someone's post that the clinicals are first come first serve, does that mean when we go on Friday we have to pick our clinical day then? Due to prior appointments might not be able to get there till about 2 pm:confused:
