I graduate in December and I am terrified! My first class of the semester begins tonight and I am already feeling overwhelmed... but thats nothing new when it comes to nursing school. Our teacher emailed us some stuff over the summer to study but with my 3 summer classes I was taking towards my BSN, I didnt have time to look at it until this weekend. Oh joy! I am not ready to begin but I am ready for the end!

I agree that people in my class seek out old test questions but they are used as study guides. Definitely don't rely on them. The material is learned and everyone studies their butts off. You cannot tell me that you have never asked anyone what the test was like? What kind of questions are on there? It's the same thing.

I havent studied either! We start back in a month. I took 4 summer classes needed for my BSN to I havent had a chance to think of opening a nursing book. But my last day of class it today and Im going to spend the next month getting back into nursing mode. I absolutely have to get these IV calculations down before school starts!

So im about about to begin my 2nd semester of nursing school. I really stuggled during 1st semster with school, working full time, and being a single mother. So if anyone has advice on what I could be looking at or reading to prepare myself for this class it would really be helpful. Ive heard this is going to be one of the hardest classes of the program. Over half the class last semester failed. Whats a good way to study for the tests? Does any of the material seem harder than the others and is gonna kick my butt even more than the rest? Just any little tid bit of info would help out a lot. Thank you!

Im about to start my 2nd semester. The uniforms are huge!!! I usually where a large or extra large in blouses or fitted t-shirts so I got a large in the uniform top. Big mistake! Its a huge mens large. So I ended up buying a small and a medium. There is pretty much no difference between the small and medium. I am large chested and had no problem with those sizes. The pants are are sooo ugly. The are about 8 inches too long and have a kangaroo pouch in the front. Most of my class went to Landau and bought white pants. We never had any problems with the teachers saying anything to us. The only thing they said is that they shouldnt look different than anyone elses. So just dont get the one with the cargo pockets and you will be fine. The pants from the uniform place are seriously awful. Its a must to get the lab coat from the required uniform place. One of the guys just bought a lab coat he wanted and put the Southwest patch on....they wouldnt allow him to wear it.
