  1. Congrats!!!
  2. http://www.admissions.ufl.edu/ugrad/trstatus.html --> Check Your Status at UF (brown-ish color box on the left) --> continue --> log into your gator link account --> and there it is! It has a "transcripts received" box that lists all your transcripts and the date that they got them. Hope that helps! I hope you already have your gator link set up; it was kind of confusing, but you can do it.
  3. Hello! That is strange that your transcript status hasn't been updated--call or e-mail to see why it's taking so long/if they received them. I am an applicant from California, and my transcripts were updated within two weeks of sending them.
  4. @ksm84, who private messaged me: I wish I could respond via pm, but I only have 7 posts and I guess there is a minimum of 15 posts required to be able to have access to the private messaging options. In response to: "Hey I was waitlisted too for unb for fall. Do you know how they go about the waitlist- like how long they wait or how long it takes before they let people in off the waitlist. I was so disappointed. I am hoping that by some miracle I get in from the waitlist." I called to get more information about being wait listed and all they could tell me was: 1. They can't disclose how many people are on the waiting list and therefore can't tell you where you are on that list. 2. They didn't say if there even is a specific ranking or if it's just random (can anybody else answer this question?) 3. Wait listed students could be accepted at anytime between now and the week before school starts (crazy!), so it's not like we will find out by a certain date if we're in or out. In light of the information from #3, I read through a lotttt of pages on these blogs and found a few people that were accepted in late July and even students who were accepted the Friday before orientation. I am still hopeful!
  5. Hi everyone! So glad I found this thread!!! My boyfriend was accepted to Baltimore campus on 04/12 and sent in his deposit Friday (with $18.95 over night guarantee-shipping because we've been waiting on my status). I was wait-listed on 04/21 and was extremely upset!! But I still have a glimmer of hope. Re sewnew: How did you deal with such a huge turn around for school?! And were you able to get housing in such a short amount of time? Any details of your experience would be extremely appreciated. Having to make alternate plans is killing me! I was accepted to UMass:Boston (Which is also "UMB," lol), I have already sent in my deposit, and now I am making plans to attend orientation in June/put a deposit on a place out there--but of course, University of Maryland is my number one and it would be just splendid if that "wait-list" turned into "admit" before then. Gosh, that would be AMAZING. Thank you!
  6. Thank you! Good luck to you too; fingers crossed! Let me know how it goes. :-)
  7. UMass Boston! But it's a 2.5 year clinical, minimum, and I was hoping for a straight two year program. So my fingers are crossed for U Maryland & U of Fl!
  8. Umass Boston, fsu, uf, Seattle u, u Maryland, and lynchburg college.
  9. My pre-req gpa was 3.6 with one still in progress. (I got A's in everything except chemistry, which screwed my gpa because I got a C and it was a five unit class). I got my hopes up, and then was really shocked when I got a letter instead of a packet. :-(. I'm sorry to hear that you haven't gotten in anywhere else. Where else did you apply?
  10. 3.75. How about yourself? I didn't get into FSU either :-(. But I read on the FSU thread that they accept FSU students and in-state residents before transfer out of state students, so I didn't have a chance anyway.
  11. Hey guys! I also applied for fall 2011 and the anticipation is killing me. I can't believe that we won't be hearing back until JUNE! Does anyone know which CoN is more competitive: FSU or UF? Thanks!
