Hi Jeanette73, I went to the university book store and the women's uniform this year is different. The women's uniform has the zipper in front and not too bad looking, I guess. Thanks for all your help and information. Now to look for books from last year like you suggested for some of the classes. It really is appreciated that you are willing to share your wisdom.

Thanks lala88 and jeanette73. I know Downstate will not be easy. You guys are really great in giving us a heads up on what to expect and buy. This way we don't waste our money on certain things and spend it where it will be really needed.

Hi lala88, Thanks for the info. I was wondering if the nursing tote is required and what is inside of it and if I need to buy more than one uniform top. Also could you let us know what books we need to buy for the classes. I know this is a lot but trying to save money any way I can. Also, wondering if any of the people who have been accepted are looking for apartment in the area for downstate?
