  1. I just got accepted off the waitlist and will be attending NEU in the fall. For people moving closer, is anyone interested in getting an apartment together? Is there a facebook or yahoo group or any discussion I can join to talk about this? Thanks
  2. Hey Johanne, I did call MGH and they could not give me any info either. Basically it appears that everyone who was accepted to MGH is going, or at least the class is full because they always accept a few more than the class size. The guy on the phone said he couldn't say anything but that some of the people who said yes may have sent deposits to several schools to have more time to change their minds so they may drop out at some point before September. I did not get any other acceptances, just the two waitlists, and since NEU is the only one to accept me, of course that is where I will be going. Good luck! And I hope you hear from them soon...
  3. Hi LadyBird, I just got called from NEU today and got off the waitlist. Don't give up hope, you could be getting a call too, just not sure how soon it would be. Good luck!
  4. Of the people who applied to NEU and MGH, can you tell me what day your deposits/final decisions were due? Just trying to get an idea of when I can start nagging them about waitlists.
  5. I just called Simmons and asked if all of the letters were sent out yet. This is what they told me: There were 300 applicants, so the decision committee decided to take the applications in 3 waves of 100 applicants each. The first 2 waves were already sent out and the last one should be sent within the next week or so. She said that my application fell in the last batch of 100 but that it doesn't mean anything, they still have spots available. So anyone who is in the same boat as me and waiting to hear from Simmons don't bother checking your mailboxes until at least the middle of next week. Fingers crossed. I'm hoping to get into Simmons because I am waitlisted at MGH and NEU. So frustrating...
  6. Nurse2011k, did your letter mention anything about them sending acceptance letters in multiple waves? I checked some old Simmons threads that said they sent letters on 3 dates instead of just one. Haven't received a letter yet myself, but congratulations! Hope I get in there too...
