yes im frm jersey.=) well since ur here in the states u mind as well file for ur eligibility here n take it in pinas.. u shud alsi start studying, focus on managemnt of care n infection control. when i took my nclex i had like 6 sata questions,lots of cardio meds and prioritization. u can enroll in kaplan if u want n just take their online course coz when i was preparing for the exam i went thru all the questions in kaplans qbank and finished all their comprehensive exams n honestly kaplans questions for me wer so much harder than the actual exam. well thats just an observation on my part.=) and one more thing i recommend that u get the priortzation n delagation book by la charity. =) anyways goodluck and stay focused! have fun on ur vacation in pinas, do me a favor and eat Isaw for me and ice scramble .. hehehe

hey there, i applied for my nclex when i was still in the philippines. i got my eligiblty a month after i submitted my documents. so im not sure if they can process you documents right away knowing how slow cali bon is. im afraid that u wont be able to take it by june. so its better for you to get all you docs together and shoot for july. like i already passed my nclex boards last march and i submitted a requet for the verification of my license bcz i applied for endorsement here in nj. ive been waiting for almost a month now,cudnt look for a job coz they dont offer interim permits in nj. so with that thought in mind, Cali bon takes so long to process applications so i hope this reply gives u a better understanding of how things work in cali. oh by the way do u have ur ssn?and are u a foreign grad?

Dont worry! if ur still getting teh good pop-up then im 101 % sure that you passed! when did u take ur exam? ca bon is just mad slow..i requested a verification for my license 2 weeks ago because im applying for reciprocity here in jersey and until now they still havent processed my request. eeekk... just believe in the trick! =):):)

Thats a great strategy. Focus on cardio drugs and chemo drugs too.. i took my test last march 14 and i had tons of cardio drugs and chemo agents. not to mention lost of prioritization and infection control. goodluck!:nurse: Just focus on your studies and let God do the rest! =)

HI everyone, any foreign nursing graduate here who can share their experience on endorsing their license to NJ recently?im really confused right now..i feel like i have tons of paper work to file and all i want is to get things done and start looking for a job...sigh.... this CES verification is bothering me..its 12am and i feel like staying up until 9am so that i can call nj bon...sigh.. =(

HI leny, i know that u posted ur msg like 4 years ago but im still hoping that u get this message coz i also have the same problem as you are before. im sure that your already at the height of your career right now and i just want to know how you went about with your endoresment application to nj bon. I just recent became a permanent resident here in the states last year and i took my nclex rn last week march 14,2011. I already received my cali rn license and i want to apply for endorsement here in nj. I was looking at their updated website and i didnt see any information pertaining to a CES verification. im also a registered nurse in the philippines so im also wondering if i need to ask PRC (Philiippine Regulations Commission) to fill up the license verification form for nj bon and send it directly to nj bon. because the form states that " the applicant needs to send a license verification from each state that he/she has been licensed in or any jurisdiction for that matter. In my case im licensed in cali and the philippines. im somehow getting frustrated with all these paper work.. i hope you can shed some light to this issue... thanks... hope ull reply...

The ces verification and the cgfns certification is for FOREIGN GRADUATE NURSES WHO ARE APpLYING FOR A LICENSE BY EXAMINATION.. in my case i am applying for endorsement..

hey silverdragon, i believe that the ces verification and cgfns thing only applies to those foreign applicants who are going to apply for a license in nj. But for licensure by endorsement they dont need CES verification. they only need a copy of my permanent resident card and ss number. and they also need to verify my license in california.. http://www.njconsumeraffairs.gov/nursing/inforequest.htm

really? i already got my permanent resident card and ss number.. i also looked at their website and they dont need ces verification for the transfer of license...

hi bella, i got married here in jersey n my husbands also a nurse here.. i originally applied for ca bcz i graduated from a foreign school. during the time that i applied for my exam i was still in the philippines n i havent received my resident card yet n i still dont have an ss number. since the ca bon doesnt need cgfns in order for me to qualify for the nclex exam. i decided to apply for ca instead of nj or ny bcz these 2 states needed cgfns certifiation. so there...hehehe..thanks again fo replying! take care!

Bella, i checked the website and my name isnt there yet..i called them today and they told me that i need to send in my ss card because apparently they dont have it in their records. sigh..i fax in my ss card this afternoon. im from jersey so they prolly recived it around 3 pm. hayzz wish me luck...
