Yes, I would get that checked out, I have received numerous emails from BCC not only from the program but just general information.

Have you checked your BCC email ? The room and time I posted came directly from an email I received in my BCC inbox from the prof.

To those who are wondering, blackboard opens tomorrow. I emailed our professor and was informed by her, as well as the help center at central. See you guys tomorrow !

I received a email stating to wear full scrubs on May 10th and should be in class at 830am.

Also, has anyone received the syllabus for any of the courses ?

Does anyone know what else is required for the first day of class besides wearing our scrubs ? What books do/should we bring in ? Any help would be appreciated.

To those going to central and have purchased the 2 "paper packets/moduels" from the bookstore, have you began to review or read any of the material ?

What sneakers have some of you purchased for clinicals ? It it difficult to find all white leather shoes that look decent.

To those who have financial aid, have your classes been paid yet by financial aid ? I was told to wait until last friday and I just checked and the payment has not been made. Obviously I will speak with the financial aid department at central soon but wanted to know if anyone else was having this problem ?

I believe some only come in paperback, but I am uncertain. I have the perry and pottern and the castillo in paperback, I have yet to order the math book.

They are due the 27th and at the main office in building 8. I turned mine in yesterday and received a email stating that my physical is not complete , my M.D must have left something out.

What were some of the books that you HAD to have during your R.N program ? I have my tabers and davis drug guide which are mandatory but would love to have some extra books to fall back on if the textbooks aren't sinking in. Thanks !

tuesday the 10th which is the first day of class

I think the e-books are a waste of money and time. It will take more time to flip through the "e-pages" than it will to flip through a real book. I keep all my books in my car anyways and carry only what I need. Maybe I'm just old fashioned but I also like the smell of books

I am missing the pharm books but have ordered almost everything that is highlighted in the book list. I purchased the tabers and davis drug guide from the get go since I believe these will help me. I can't seem to find the castillo book or the pharm book on amazon, did anyone have any luck with any other websites ?

Has anyone began to purchase their books as well ? So far, how much have you spent on books ?

I had to take a drug test (urine) prior to entering the program which cost $33.00

I am assuming it will be somewhat familiar to the North campus orientation. I am bringing a notebook and a couple of pens to write but that is about it.
